Warning !! Very graphic!! Resentment in Afrin after mutilating a body of a female Kurdish fighter by “Olive Branch” Operation Forces in Afrin countryside and uncovering some of the body after pulling it

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received a copy of a video showed a body of a female fighter of the YPG in Afrin area, after the Turkish forces and the rebel and Islamic factions operating in Operation “Olive Branch” managed to draw off the body, which sources confirmed to the SOHR that she was killed during the clashes witnessed in areas of the countryside of Afrin area, and the body was shown lying in the middle of a group of fighters and the upper part of the body was undressed after the body had been mutilated and parts of it had been cut off, which raged the resentment of the people of Afrin, as a reaction to the crime committed against the female fighter of the YPG.
Factions operating in the northern countryside of Aleppo, justified their participation in Operation “Olive Branch”, saying that “it is a revenge for roaming the streets of Afrin in late April 2016, by Kurdish units with the dead bodies of tens of fighters who were killed in an attack on the SDF-held areas in the northern countryside of Aleppo, although the Kurdish units did not mutilate these bodies at that time, but they transported these bodies inside Afrin city on a tank carrier, which raged the resentment and the condemnation of the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, intellectuals, and Syrian and Kurdish characters against this disgraceful behavior, which led the YPG Command to issue a statement regarding this incident, and the statement read as follows
“Some of our members who lost some of their fellow brothers and relatives in Al-Sheikh Maksoud neighborhood, unwittingly transported yesterday, the 28th of April 2016, the bodies of those who died in clashes in Ein Daqneh and Arfad town across the main street in Afrin using a truck. We, the YPG General Command in Afrin, affirm that this action is an individual act and does not comply with the humanitarian message we are striving to spread. Neither does such an act comply with our moral and revolutionary values. We reiterate that the responsible will be held accountable and that we remain committed to promote safety and peace across the area and that we won’t allow such acts to occur again.”
