Since 2016 and before that, Jihad Watch has been reporting about how rapidly re-Islamizing Turkey was escalating the persecution of Christians, some of whom even live in fear of their own neighbors killing them. Attacks on Christian cemeteries in Turkey have also increased. In March, Muslims screaming “Allahu akbar” disrupted a Christian funeral.

Scholar Alexander Görlach also noted that the Turkish government was taking advantage of the coronavirus pandemic and recession to pressure and scapegoat Christians. And while the West welcomes Muslim migrants, “In the wake of the recent Turkish military offensive in northern Syria, some 200,000 people, many of them Christians, have been forced to flee their homes.

The persecution of Christians in Turkey continues. While the world is busy fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, dealing with mass unemployment and a global recession, the Turkish government is taking advantage of the situation to further pressure minorities. The marginalization of Turkey’s Christians isn’t new for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan: He’s been busy reorganizing his secular republic into a mixture of Ottomanism and Islam for some time now.

Recently, the Syriac-Aramaic Christians in the country’s southeast, in particular, had to fear for their rights and property. This religious community is one of the world’s oldest churches. Aramaic, the language the community uses in worship, is thought to have been spoken by Jesus Christ himself.

The penalty for homosexual acts in Islamic law is death. “While the police declared it as a terror incident, it was not clear if it was a homophobic attack or a hate crime, as many users on social media claimed it was.” It may have been both a terror attack and one targeting homosexuals.

The Reading attack has been a case where media and authorities have bent over backwards to conceal important information. But when added up, the available evidence strong suggests that the government is downplaying yet another jihad attack. Forbury Gardens, where the “frenzied attack” took place, was also the venue for a Black Lives Matter protest earlier that day.

Glasgow Knife Attack

Glasgow is on lockdown today amid unconfirmed reports that three people have been stabbed to death in a hotel stairwell by an attacker who knifed a policeman before being shot dead by armed officers. The Scottish city centre is on lockdown after Police Scotland declared a ‘major incident’ at around 1pm before officers with automatic weapons stormed the Park Inn hotel in West George Street.

Former fighters are returning to their homelands - including Germany. But what does it mean for these IS returnees when they have to realize that their dream of the "Islamic world revolution", for which they left their homeland, has shattered?

What does it mean for society and the security authorities to accept the former fighters back into European countries? Are they an uncontrollable terrorist potential? And what is happening to the European citizens who are currently still in Iraq and Syria - men, women and children who are now in camps and prisons there?

As the city of Minneapolis moves to dismantle its police force, Minnesota state Rep. Steve Green on Tuesday stated the obvious that virtually everyone else has been tiptoeing around and pretending isn’t there: “What you’re looking at, in my humble opinion, is communism moving into Minneapolis and St. Paul.” And not just Communism, but the Leftist/Islamic alliance. Green asserted that Antifa and Muslim organizations plan to “police Minneapolis under Muslim rule.” Those who scoff at such a notion simply aren’t paying attention to recent developments.

The Minneapolis City Council voted two weeks ago to abolish the city’s police force. Its plans beyond that have so far been sketchy, but something is going to have to be put in place as an alternative to the police. The New York Times noted that “many have called for relying more on self-policing by the community, in the way attendees often do at events like music festivals, with the police stepping in only when a true emergency arises. Some cited as an example how, in the days after the killing of Mr. Floyd, teams made up of dozens of members of the American Indian Movement patrolled streets and directed traffic in the Little Earth housing community in Minneapolis.”

If members of the local community end up policing Minneapolis, what might that look like? Back in 2016, a series of Minneapolis Muslims in man-on-the-street interviews stated matter-of-factly that they preferred Islamic law over American law. We have seen Sharia patrols in Germany, Britain, and even New York City, where the Muslim Community Patrol (MCP) is decked out in uniforms that strong resemble New York Police Department uniforms, and drives cars carefully designed to look like NYPD cars, to enforce “fundamentals of the Sharia.”

Muslim leader Siraj Wahhaj explained what that meant: “The mosques need protection and the MCP cars can help stop people who were not following the rules and regulations of the sharia, doing what they’re not supposed to be doing, but still doing it.” According to a Muslim involved with the MCP, this would involve stopping “Muslim women being out after dark, Muslim men hanging out in the corners doing dope, Muslims drinking liquor,” and enforcing, “basically, the fundamentals of the Sharia.”

If such a community patrol is launched in Minneapolis, it is likely to focus on the same things, but not do anything about the fact that the 5^th Congressional District in Minneapolis, Rep. Ilhan Omar’s district, is the jihad terror recruitment capital of the United States. Stopping young Muslims from engaging in jihad activity is unlikely to be a high priority for a group that is dedicated to enforcing Sharia, since Sharia calls upon Muslims to wage war against and subjugate unbelievers.

The Sharia enforcers’ hard-Left allies in Antifa would have no problem with this. Islam historically has never had any difficulty coexisting with authoritarian governments; in fact, it is free republics that have never proved to be compatible with Islamic law. Consequently, Steve Green’s words don’t appear farfetched at all. The unholy alliance of Leftists and Islamic supremacists sees that its moment is now, and is grabbing all it can. How likely is it that Minneapolis really could end up under Islamic rule, with the blessing and cooperation of the hard-Left?

According to the Minnesota Reformer, another Minnesota state Representative, Mohamud Noor of Minneapolis, did not deny the truth of Green’s statements. Instead, when asked about them, he “said rather than talk about things that inflame people and create division, Minnesota needs to address the challenge before it.” And of course, talk of Antifa/Islamic rule in Minneapolis might “inflame people,” so keep quiet. Keep quiet, that is, if you oppose such an eventuality, not if you favor it. Said Noor: “Minnesota is awake. They understand the challenges; they have been hearing the challenges for far too long. And we can’t wait any longer.” Steve Green may turn out to have been a prophetic voice far sooner than anyone expects.

Harris Sultan

“Muslim ‘blogger’ threatens to murder ex-Muslim’s pet dog and slaughter him and his family live on TV for ‘criticizing Islam,’” OpIndia, June 20, 2020 An Ex-Muslim atheist has urged people on social media to help authorities trace a Muslim blogger in the United Kingdom after the latter threatened him and his family in one of his blogs. The blogger took offence at Harris Sultan for allegedly criticising Islam. Harris Sultan has authored a book, ‘The Curse of God: Why I left Islam’.

In the video shared by Sultan, the Muslim blogger says, “So, Harris, tell me, you are speaking about women’s rights, basically you want them to run around naked, sure that’s your opinion but when you target Islam, it becomes personal for us and we have to reply to you. Get it?” He continued, “To us, they are our family, they live in our hearts. Anyone who targets my prophet or Allah, I will go after his family.”

The blogger then went on to say that he has stalked Sultan’s family on Instagram and Facebook. He says that he has stalked the Facebook profiles of Sultan’s mother, his sister and his ‘white’ wife. The blogger says that all the information has been downloaded and everything is on file. The blogger further says, “Now I will slaughter them live on TV, in front of everyone.” The blogger also speaks of killing Sultan’s pet dog….

Stuttgart Riots

With a seemingly strange proposal, German authorities now want to prevent the devastation of the weekend from being repeated: a ban on alcohol in downtown Stuttgart is to fix it. Up to 500 people recently rioted in Stuttgart, numerous videos show both the extent and the fact that mainly immigrants took part. Later, the police even admitted that out of 24 people arrested – eight are in custody – the majority were from a migrant background and a “colorful mix across the globe” was responsible for the riots. “Party scene” as an eye opener for alcohol bans.

Obviously you don’t want to separate yourself completely from the original and much-criticized narrative of the “party scene”. Because in Baden-Württemberg, which is governed by black and green, they now want to develop a ten-point concept. According to Krone, this includes the usual control measures and video surveillance, as well as alcohol and residence bans in the catalog.

CDU State Minister of the Interior Thomas Strobl also wants to help the city of Stuttgart with the creation of its own security concept. He justified his push for the restricted zones as follows: “I hope that the night from Saturday to Sunday opened some eyes.” The inclined observer may assess whether he is among the sighted now … Effectiveness of a ban on alcohol is doubtful.

In fact, there was significant intoxication among those arrested. A 23-year-old had about 2.23 per thousand alcohol in the blood. In view of documented “Allahu Akbar” calls, the question also arises whether such a ban really applies.

Attack in Reading

The Telegraph understands the incident is being treated as terror-related. A source told the Telegraph there were three individuals declared dead at the scene and two transferred to the emergency department of Royal Berkshire Hospital, where they are receiving resuscitation. Thames Valley Police said: “A number of people sustained injuries and were taken to hospital. A police cordon is in place in Forbury Gardens as officers investigate. We are asking the public to avoid the area at this time.”

Eye-witness accounts on social media have reported paramedics and police tending to wounded people in the park. PA: Suspect is Libyan A security source has told the Press Association that the man who has been arrested is Libyan.

‘He stabbed people in the neck’

An eyewitness has described how the attacker stabbed people in the neck and set upon a group of 10 people. Lawrence Wort, 20, a personal trainer from Chippenham, told the Press Association: “So the park was pretty full, a lot of people sat around drinking with friends when one lone person walked through, suddenly shouted some unintelligible words and went around a large group of around 10, trying to stab them.

“He stabbed three of them, severely in the neck, and under the arms, and then turned and started running towards me, and we turned and started running. “When he realised that he couldn’t catch us, he tried to stab another group sat down, he got one person in the back of the neck and then when he realised everyone was starting to run, he ran out the park.”

Incident ‘terror-related’

Only when he is sure that no storm is brewing, he starts to prepare the children for the trip over the river. It is a route that is so notorious, that it even has a name: Chadar- the path over the cloak of ice. One last time, his ten year old son Motup, plays in front of their hut. Motup is one of the few kids who regularly leave the village in order to attend one of the the better schools in town. Then the family gets ready for the long trip.

The mother has sewn thick wool socks for the father and the children, and Tebean prayers and mantras are recited for protection along the way. Then the trip begins, where the children muss trust completely the experience and skill of their father. The first steps, only a few kilometres until the frozen river, seem easy for the family. But father Latak recognizes immediately that the spring has come early this year and the sun has already began to compromise the ice. This is not a good sign, since the thinner the ice the more dangerous the trip becomes.

Latak goes before the children and tests with a stick before each step on the ice. Often the ice cracks a bit, but the ice remains whole. Latak knows that no one should travel the Chadar without a good reason. But the education of the children is a good enough reason to take on the risks involved. He knows that if he goes first and the ice carries his weight, that it will also carry the weight of the children. If it does not, it will be he that will fall in the icy water and not his two children.

At the same time, Latak, Motup and the other members of the crew must keep a close eye on the mountains. The massive mountain ranges on both sides of them seem to be a scene form a picture book, peaceful and lordly. But there is danger lurking. At any given time, an avalanche can break out. Many times before people have been caught by avalanches here. In the mean time the sun has already thawed the middle of the river. But since there are steep rocks right and left, Latak must now search for a new path for them to continue on.

He leaves Motup behind him and luckily finds a way. It is a 20 cm wide path on the rocks at the edge of the river, and up to ten meters high. They need almost an hour, skipping from rock to rock until they finally reach an area where the river is again covered with ice. Now they must find a place to set up camp as soon as possible before it becomes dark and the temperatures sink to as low as -30 degrees Celsius. Latak knows a cave where they will be protected and finally be able to get some rest.

They must gather their strength because the most dangerous part of the Chadar still lies before them. The ice is almost completely melted. Only a 50 cm wide strip borders right and left the ice-cold water, making the river absolutely impassible. Rocky overhangs above the ice block the way. Father and son must now crawl its way to school. Father Latak tests his way over the ice on his belly. After any progress made, he pulls his son by their hands to him.

Legend says the Kalash are descendants of Greek troops who settled here during the campaigns of Alexander the Great. But the tale is debatable. DNA researchers suspect they originated in Afghanistan, but the Kalash cling to the story, saying they are of western and European appearance.

Over the course of history, most of them were forcibly converted to Islam or killed. A small part of the community, however, survived in the Pakistani province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. They are polytheists and live in a very traditional way, far from the modern, big cities. The younger generation often has to decide whether to stick to tradition or pursue a modern life.

Many are engaged in a balancing act between the desire to maintain their culture and religion and the opportunity to move beyond the limited opportunities of their home villages. This film asks the Kalash how they see the future of their traditions.

From my friend from many years ago, 1994 from the Jammu Kashmir Light Infantry Regiment (JAKLI) aka Sherwani Regiment. Met him in Xuddur near the Ethiopian Border during my World food Program Runs. Whilst in Somalia from December 1993 until July of 1994. I knew this Officer very well and stayed in touch with him for all these years. Gave him my Malaysian Army raincoat and shotgun rounds which were from the Norwegian Army, I got that from the Norcoy (Norwegian Company).

He has retired a long time ago from the Indian Military. He got this from his former subordinates. This is not the official version. Yesterday afternoon there was a disengagement meeting. It went well. In the evening 2 patrols went to verify that the disengagement had in fact been carried out. Note this does not reflect LAC claims - each was meant to withdraw 2-3 kilometres back to their permanent outposts.

The first smaller patrol did in fact as speculated in the quoted tweets, come across the Chinese staying put. A fight broke out, at the edge of a narrow mountain path on the side of a steep feature. The initial Chinese patrol was much bigger and some of our soldiers had been taken. Within minutes the Indian second patrol joined in to help. Then within 15-20 mins the second Chinese patrol also joined in. Remember this is a precarious trail and  by the time both patrols of both countries joined in there was a virtual melee.

This was compounded by the fact the initial deaths meant there was absolutely no backing down for either side. In the end reinforcements were called up. The fight blew up to about 200-300 men. the bad news is several of our men did fall into the ravine. Having happened at night and with chest deep water recovery operations have been hampered. Also due to their sheer superiority of numbers, part of the ridge collapse under the weight of the Chinese.

Total casualties on the Chinese side are expected to be around 40-50, significant fatalities given the sheer drop and jagged rocks. Indian fatalities also resulted from pushing off the ridge as indicated earlier in the quoted tweet, our fatality numbers will rise. Efforts on to ascertain if the missing are apprehended or fell into the ravine. It’s probably better news if they are in fact hostages, the Chinese CO is also among the Chinese dead.

Apparently during the “landslide” or whatever it was,  resulted in most of the Chinese casualties.

Today [June 10] is the renowned bluesman Howlin’ Wolf’s birthday, offering us a reminder that even through times of segregation and genuine “systemic racism,” race relations in America were not always as overheated and tense as they are today. When Wolf was born on this day in 1910, he was named Chester Arthur Burnett, after the twenty-first president of the United States, Chester Arthur. This was because Arthur, who was president from September 1881 to March 1885, was a champion of civil rights in an age when very few were. Although Arthur is forgotten today, a quarter-century after his death, Wolf’s parents demonstrated that they remembered his efforts for black Americans.

As explained in Rating America’s Presidents: An America-First Look at Who Is Best, Who Is Overrated, and Who Was An Absolute Disaster, when Arthur was twenty-five in 1854, he joined the law firm of Erastus D. Culver, at which he formed part of a legal team that argued successfully for the freedom of any slaves that their owners brought to New York.

There was no backlash: because nobody knew.

The Palestinian Authority gives pardons or suspended sentences for honor murders. Iraqi women have asked for tougher sentences for Islamic honor murderers, who get off lightly now. Syria in 2009 scrapped a law limiting the length of sentences for honor killings, but “the new law says a man can still benefit from extenuating circumstances in crimes of passion or honour ‘provided he serves a prison term of no less than two years in the case of killing.’”

And in 2003 the Jordanian Parliament voted down on Islamic grounds a provision designed to stiffen penalties for honor killings. Al-Jazeera reported that “Islamists and conservatives said the laws violated religious traditions and would destroy families and values.”

…The Daily Sabah, owned by Ahmet Çalık, a close associate of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, ran a new article with the title “Greece misuses Ottoman monuments in major blow to cultural heritage.”

In the article, the outlet claims that Greece is discriminating against its recognised Muslim minority, saying “the Turks living in Komotini had previously elected their own muftis (Muslim legal experts who have the authority to rule on local family and inheritance matters), the Greek state has started appointing its own mufti in the area under new protocols.”

An interesting point to criticise Greece about, considering the Turkish government itself also appoints its own muftis. So Daily Sabah is effectively criticising Greece for what Turkey itself does in organising the Muslim community.

“Religion is not the only sphere targeted by the state, according to the Turks of Western Thrace, who say their schools are being shut down, damaging their efforts to protect their identity. Sixty-five Turkish-language schools have been closed down in the past eight years, with the latest closure occurring in the village of Kalamokastro,” the article said. Although it is true that 65 Turkish-language schools have been closed down in the past eight years, the outlet of course does not explain in detail why this is, and rather alludes that it is part of systematic racism by the Greek state…

Continuing the attack, Daily Sabah then says that “The Fethiye Mosque in Athens, built by Mehmet the Conqueror in 1458, is currently being used as an exhibition hall,” while forgetting that on the original site of the mosque was a Byzantine Church that was converted into a mosque, then demolished to build the Fethiye Mosque. The article also mentions how the famous Tzistarakis Mosque in Monastiraki today is a ceramics museum, but not how the Turks built it by destroying and using ancient columns from Hadrian’s library that was constructed in 132 AD.

When are Muslim leaders going to address their wanton abuse of blacks worldwide, beginning with current slavery in Algeria, Mauritania, Sudan and Libya, not to mention the endemic racism in the Arab world? Jihadist blacks also continue their genocide against black Christians. All the while, stealth jihadists join the Marxist-rooted Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement to destroy the foundations of Western democracy. Not only is there no forgiveness in normative Islam. There is also no accountability and no apologies for current and past systemic brutalities which are supported by Islamic doctrines.

The Black Lives Matter alliance with Islamic supremacists will further fuel BLM’s cause of violence, far beyond the borders of America, as is being seen now. This is much like what we already see with the Palestinians, who employ victimhood propaganda as a propaganda tool, to the extent that the truth is lost that the Palestinian leadership has sought to obliterate Israel since 1948.

Another example of the alliance between Black Lives Matter and Islam: In a speech delivered to the Annual Muslim American Society (MAS) and Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) Convention in December 2015, Nihad Awad, the Executive Director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), urged Muslim Americans to take up the cause of Black Lives Matter. “Black Lives Matter is our matter,” he said; “Black Lives Matter is our campaign.” The Black Lives Matter movement thrives on “racist provocation” and has radical roots. It is not a peace-loving, pro-black movement akin to Martin Luther King’s movement.
