No Atheists
In A Foxhole

Rudyard Kipling

" “When you're left wounded on
Afganistan's plains and

the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle

and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur

" “We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”

“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.”
“Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace,
for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .”
“The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

Najib’s health condition 'quite bad', needs to see doc: DPP By Hidir Reduan Abdul Rashid
Monday, September 12, 2022

Malaysiakini : 1MDB Trial | Najib Abdul Razak needed to see the doctor by 2pm this afternoon due to his health condition which was “quite bad”, the Kuala Lumpur High Court heard this morning.

Deputy public prosecutor Gopal Sri Ram informed trial judge Collin Lawrence Sequerah about the former prime minister’s health condition, which necessitated the accused’s RM2.28 billion 1MDB corruption trial to end earlier later today.

The DPP said a Kajang Prison officer had informed the prosecution that the matter was related to Najib’s blood pressure medication which has changed “(The health condition) Has (an) adverse impact (on Najib) and he needs to be sent to the doctor.  “His condition is quite bad. The Prison Department needs to take him to the doctor, latest by 2pm,” said Sri Ram who was applying for an earlier adjournment of the criminal trial.

Deputy public prosecutor Gopal Sri Ram

Sequerah allowed the application, and the trial then proceeded with the ongoing testimony of 37th prosecution witness R Uma Devi, who managed AmBank’s branch at Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur. Najib is on trial for four counts of abuse of power and 21 counts of money laundering involving RM2.28 billion from 1MDB.

The Pekan MP was alleged to have committed four counts of corruption at AmIslamic Bank Berhad’s Jalan Raja Chulan branch in Bukit Ceylon, Kuala Lumpur, between Feb 24, 2011, and Dec 19, 2014.

LimeLynx8453 : When you enjoyed our stolen money, your health seemed to be in perfect condition.....

Truth will always Prevail : As normal human being we need to empathise with his medical situation. But when I think about the people link to the many scandals who are somehow who died mysteriously.........

docsarna : DPP only conveys what has been informed by the defense lawyer and the prison staffs . so cant blame Gopal Sri Ram... but jibby is gonna have a lot of these bad conditions to make sure he stays out longer than in . changing blood pressure medications does not require a genius specialist to rechange or adjust the dosage .

prison departent has got its own medical facility which can easily see this . i wonder if a normal convict was in this situation will they also take him to hospital again . and i'm just curious to know if Jibby is handcuffed whne taken to hospital.. as far as the SOP is concerned they all have to be handcuffed even if admitted they are handcuffed to the bed

7326Geloges : Let me just guess the ending of this wayang, ....Pardon him on medical ground ? Seek medical treatment by specialist in overseas hospital ? Stay longer for medical.holidays ?

Better still, stay exile or apply for asylum ? Option to join party with RPK in UK? Then reshuffle all stolen wealths and manipulate evidences from there ? No ?

SurpriseSurprise : Well, you don't need to be Nostradamus to predict that Najib will not complete his 12 year prison sentence.

Mazilamani : It is moral high to see the DPP proposing for Najib to seek medical attention for blood pressure. It shows that Mr Gopal Sri Ram had no personal reasons to punish Najib with imprisonment.

That he is merely going about his work with the highest level of professionalism and a sense of patriotism to the country. That no matter how high a position the person once held , the deserving punishment has to be borne, as guided by the law.

apanama is back : "Najib Abdul Razak needed to see the doctor by 2pm this afternoon due to his health condition which was “quite bad”, The matter was related to Najib’s blood pressure medication which has changed". Why the medication was changed?

Is it deliberately done? Looks like spending time in hospital will be a norm rather than in jail cell. The other day it was stomach ulcer and now this. Next? At the same time foundation is being laid for faster pardon citing health issue. Bossku has "macam-macam" tactics.

VP Biden : And the rest of the prisoners health is ok ? They have no titles n means to voice out their concerns.likely the prison wardens ask them to take a Panadol n go to sleep. Delay tactics again from the convict .

Hang Babeuf : "Najib’s health condition 'quite bad'." His legal and moral condition also 'quite bad'. Possibly far worse .. ..
