• Former law minister Zaid Ibrahim says PAS has the ability to take Malaysia to greater heights if it combines its moral clarity with good governance and inclusivity.

• Zaid adds that PAS leaders are generally corruption-free, putting them in good standing to eradicate graft.

Former law minister Zaid Ibrahim said PAS could take Malaysia to greater heights, provided it combines its moral clarity with good governance and inclusivity.

Proarte : Over the past 18 months Israel has bravely and miraculously overcome its enemies one by one and humiliatingly brought them to heel. Iran is the main driver behind the wars in the region and Israel has regarded them as the “head of the octopus “.  

What is he smoking?

Iran has made no bones about wanting to annihilating Israel over the past 45 years since the Islamic revolutionary government under Ayatollah Khomeini seized power. 

What the anti-Israeli and Pro-Palestinian forces which includes Madani, the Islamic Renaissance Front of Malaysia, PSM, Tian Chua, Malaysiakini Columnists Charles Santiago and Gunasegaram fail to under understand is that the wars, the destruction and civilians deaths was self inflicted by Iran and its proxies such as Hamas. 

No civilian death in Gaza would have occurred nor a single building bombed in Gaza if Hamas and the Palestinian civilians had stopped firing rockets into Israel and returned the hostages. The Malaysian Activists against Israel are barking up the wrong tree. 

They should be pressuring Iran to give up its nuclear ambitions because this is an existential threat to Israel and indeed the world. They don’t realise that Israel has been fighting a righteous war throughout, with the corollary being the defence of Judea-Christian values. 

These have formed the bedrock of Western civilisation and its civilised values which have influenced the whole world. I repeat what the German Chancellor has said, the war is 'dirty work Israel is doing for all of us’. 

It is sad that a large part of the West has turned its back on its own fundamental values and allowed themselves to be afflicted with Israel Derangement Syndrome ( IDS ) and blindly and perhaps conveniently allow itself to condone Jew hatred and anti-Israeli propaganda spewed by the Qatari sponsored world media and the political Left. 

It is Malaysia which will suffer immeasurably if there was a nuclear war in the Middle East but these Activists care a damn about reality. Rather than thanking Israel for doing the necessary “ dirty work “, the deluded activists are instead hostages to their warped 7th century ideological beliefs masquerading as morality and religion, which will happily see the end of the world as part of a greater cosmic plan. 

Why have the Malaysian Muslim activists and the likes of Tian Chua, Charles Santiago and Gunasegaram not seen it fit to condemn Egypt for barricading the Palestinians in Gaza throughout the war in order that they can escape the bombing to save their lives? Not a whimper of protest from them except for endless anti-Israeli and anti-American propaganda. 

These Activists have been afflicted with Israel Derangement Syndrome (IDS) which makes them accept blatant lies such as “genocide" and “starvation”. Did they not witness the recent humiliating treatment of the hundreds of participants of the “ Global March for Gaza “ who were prevented from entering Gaza at the border gates by the Egyptian authorities? 

Even the local Egyptian Muslims were abusing, punching and whipping the participants who were trying to deliver unnecessary aid into Gaza because they saw through their hypocrisy and self serving virtue signalling agenda. In Iran, the population there are ecstatic over the Israeli retaliation and taking down of their nuclear facilities, the military industrial complex and the entire Iranian leadership. 

Ayatollah Khamenei is reportedly holed up like a rat in a bunker in Mashad. If he does not surrender, it is only a matter of time he will eliminated. Zaid is proposing a death wish on PAS by suggesting they emulate the Ayatollahs of Iran in steering their country to greater heights! 

Does he want Israel to start eliminating PAS leaders which will surely happen if they follow the ideology of the Iranian clerics. I cannot help thinking Zaid is either drunk with his favourite tipple, or he is being sarcastic, seeing the humiliating death blow to the Islamic clerics and their nuclear ambitions which Israel is raining down on them.
