Rudyard Kipling"
“When you're left wounded on Afganistan's plains and
the women come out to cut up what remains, Just roll to your rifle
and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur"
“We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”
“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.” “Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace, for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .” “The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.
“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."
Malaysiakini : ANALYSIS | On Dec 7, one week after
Pakatan Harapan's crushing defeat in the Sabah election, Prime Minister
Anwar Ibrahim launched his new book at an upscale bookstore in Kuala
Lumpur.
The book, titled “Rethinking Ourselves: Justice, Reform
and Ignorance in the Post-Normal Times”, is dedicated to his wife,
former deputy prime minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, and he announced
that all royalties would be donated to underprivileged students.
This
should have been a heartwarming story, but in the current political
climate, it felt particularly jarring. It makes Anwar appear out of
touch - even angering some Harapan members.
The day before, Anwar
had returned to Kota Kinabalu to attend an official event with Sabah
Chief Minister Hajiji Noor, publicly thanking Hajiji's government for
its friendship and cooperation.
Hassan : Anwar thinks the Chinese are angry at him for giving money to Palestine
Can you blame them?
The Chinese are the ones paying the money
He takes their money and gives it to foreigners...while discriminating against the Chinese.
Of course they would be upset.
Malaysia has 2 main sources of wealth:
1. Oil from the ground
2. The Chinese
These 2 things feed the MMs. MMs thank Allah for the oil. But they hate the Chinese.
HangTuahPJ : He is evil. ' Anwar mentioned at the dinner that Chinese Malaysians were unhappy about excessive government aid to Palestine' is meant to instigate Malay against the NMs and create an image of himself as being a holy muslim.
Know the term 'tunggang agama' ? what kind of a PM creates such animosity amongst his rakyat? He is burning Malaysia to the ground with his theatrics.
franklyspeaking : The non-Malays tend to be pragmatic people: they make an honest living, avoid confrontation, and mind their own business. However, they have long been frustrated by issues such as incompetence, lack of integrity, and corruption in public administration.
They also grapple with bureaucratic red tape and unfair education policies, including quotas, scholarships, grants and the non-recognition of the UEC. Additionally, the slow progress or failure of promised institutional and educational reforms further adds to their frustrations.
Policies that negatively affect livelihoods and businesses, along with religious bigotry, ineffective ministers and MPs, inconsistent enforcement of the rule of law, and hooliganism or a lack of intelligence in parliamentary debates, exacerbate these concerns.
Figures like the Akmals and Firdauses, among others, intensify these feelings of frustration and insult.
The current thinking that the non-Malays have no better alternative, and therefore their issues and concerns can be brushed off or ignored, is unwise. PMX and the UG should take care of the non-Malays as well as the Malays to ensure a double win during the next GE.
Take care of your existing voter bases instead of appeasing the demands of the opposition voters, which has angered the loyal voters, especially the non-Malays, and the urban and progressive Malays.
Lawyers tell Malacca police to focus on alleged killer cops, not dress code
Wednesday, December 10, 2025
Was action taken against these cops for wearing shorts? (Image courtesy of Happy Hours)
Malaysiakini : Two lawyers have taken Malacca police chief Dzulkhairi Mukhtar to
task over his recent comments on public attire when lodging reports at
police stations.
In a strongly worded statement, Rajesh Nagarajan and Sachpreetraj Singh Sohanpal said Dzulkhairi (above) “has no business commenting on people’s clothing” when his department is facing unresolved claims of misconduct.
They
also accused him of focusing on “non-issues” while remaining silent on
serious allegations involving the fatal shooting of three men in Durian
Tunggal.
“Where is his outrage for this? Where is his response to
this?” asked the lawyers who form part of the legal team representing
families of the three victims, who they alleged were murdered by police
officers.
The
duo also pointed out that Dzulkhairi had, during a Nov 24 press
conference, presented a narrative which the families claim contradicts
their own evidence.
OrangeJaguar9341 : Preparing robes is the solution??? This isn't some extremist country, Prof. It's a multicultural, multi-religious, multilingual country where every citizen should have equal rights.
Neutral Point : Look at PMX, he just ignore the issue. Dress code has been a long standing issue effecting the non Malay and Madani government is not doing anything to stop this issue. It is time to change and kick him out before his cronies and family control the entire party and country.
PW Cheng : Sorry professor, I beg to differ with your proposal of providing robes for those who are deemed to be not properly attired when visiting police stations or for that matter any govt depts. You are just feeding them with ideas to come up with more absurd demands.
If your proposals sticks , they will come up with more absurd sops by stating that all non Malay females must wear a scarf or tudong to visit any govt depts. Then you will propose for them to keep some scarfs.
Next they say you cannot wear short sleeve and then u keep some long sleeves attire of various sizes. When and where will all these end.
If all these Malay Govt servants are so morally upright, then there will be no corruptions in the civil service.
But instead corruptions prolifirate in all govt depts and involves from top to bottom. Its obvious that these sanctimonious demands are just pure hypocrisy that stinks to high heaven.
And preety obvious that all these rules are there to exhibit the Malays supremacy and to itimidate the non Malays.
As i myself had personally encounter with all the absurd demands (when i was there in one of the govt depts to seek some services) which "langsung tak masuk akal".
In fact you as a moderate Malay which i hope you are, please tell them its their constitutional duty to serve the public to the best of their abilities and not come up with absurd demands which infringe on the constitutional rights of the people.
After all they are being paid by taxes from the rakyat. Thats why they are called Govt servants and to serve the rakyat honestly and diligently.
Anon2000 : In most other countries, the murder will be an open and shut case. But with people like Dzulkhairi in senior positions, this will probably be yet another NFA. Anwar should sack Dzulkhairi.
GalaxyM : Who is to blame for the undesirable image of the PDRM?
Probably the cause is the 60 over years of pampering and favouring one race and one religion policy that has brought about their ineptitude and inefficiency.
Another factor could be the lousy education system that has produced a whole lot of civil servants who don't work conscientiously. They are generally lazy and clock watchers forever anticipating higher pay like bonus but never work hard.
Some with given power resort to bribery and corruption. This scenario is open secret and it does tell everyone why the country is worse than the tiny city state in the south.
Asam Pedas : But thats too hard and requires real work. Bullying non-Malays is easier and makes the police feel good about it and to boast as achievement.
BluePanther4725 : Our Police Force is more interested in becoming religious and moral police instead of fighting crime. Our Police Force is a waste of taxpayers money.
People are struggling but these civil servants are playing with their job while expecting good pay rise every year. The Police Force needs urgent reform and it should start by sacking the incompetent IGP and Home Minister first. This country and government is a a joke!
Put the sprint coach on the first flight home By Frankie D'Cruz
FMT : Malaysia entered the SEA Games in Bangkok
with the usual expectations — discipline, integrity and faith in those
guiding our athletes.
Instead, among the national contingent
stands a coach accused of the unthinkable: telling an 18-year-old to
lie, fabricate an injury and step aside for a slower senior sprinter. That man is now in the games village,
credentialled by Malaysia, surrounded by young athletes who rely on
their coaches for trust, guidance and safety.
A figure facing allegations of coercion, document distortion, retaliation and abuse of authority should not be there. Not for another hour. Not for another race. Not for another team meeting. He should be on the first flight home.
Because a coach who allegedly tells a teenager to lie — in writing, step by step — is not just a threat to one athlete’s career. He is a risk to every athlete under his influence, and to the integrity of the sport itself.
And this case, backed by WhatsApp messages, medical records and a formal letter from the family, is not a “miscommunication”. Not a personality clash. Not a quibble over selection criteria. It is a clear breach of authority,
involving pressure on a minor, manipulation of information, intimidation
and interference in selection — conduct Malaysian sport cannot
tolerate.
The question is not whether the coach is guilty; that will be determined by due process. The question is why he remains with the national team in Bangkok while that process unfolds.
Under global SafeSport standards in the
UK, US and Australia, any allegation involving pressure on a minor,
misuse of medical information, intimidation or behaviour affecting
selection triggers immediate suspension pending inquiry. Not “monitoring”. Not “waiting for the panel to meet”.
Immediate removal from athlete environments to prevent influence, tampering or repeat behaviour. Malaysia’s decision to leave him in place, overseeing athletes, some minors, all vulnerable, is a failure of safeguarding. Athletes in a games village are isolated
from their families, dependent on coaches for daily decisions, and often
afraid to speak.
It is the very environment where pressure can thrive if unchecked. A coach under investigation for instructing a teenager to lie should not be mentoring or monitoring anyone. This is not harsh. This is standard. And right now, Malaysia is falling below standard.
Moderate Islam Is a Lie – The West Is Deluding Itself - Raymond Ibrahim
"Historian and author Raymond Ibrahim joins the Winston Marshall Show to unpack the foundations of Islamic law—exploring how the Quran and Hadith shape ideas about jihad, non-Muslims, and so-called 'moderation.'
Ibrahim also delves into the role of Middle Eastern leaders, migration, and ideology in shaping today’s Western societies." Moderate Islam? The ones who may never hurt you but make excuses for those that do.
The biggest problem is the weakness and ignorance of the West. Radical Islam is the snake in the grass. Moderate Islam is the grass that hides the snake. He discusses common mistranslations, the obstacles to Islamic reform, and the historical roots of Europe’s current tensions.
Moderate Muslims won't kill you themselves, but they won't lift a finger to stop the ones who will. They'll also make endless excuses for them.

To the Apache warrior who w ill not see this, thank you for your courage. And sacrifice. I hope you find peace. Coming from a New York newspaper clip from a German General saying.......
" that the most dangerous American soldier is the American Indian.. he is utterly brave & a dead shot.. he is an expert in camouflage that been inherited from his ancestors without the benefit of science and great laboratories.. he moves without orders..he's an Army within itself.. he's one soldier Germany must fear.."
Viva Arizona, she raises strong men. When Pearl Harbor was hit, as soon as they heard, Dad and his cousins walked 20 miles to the county seat. It was cold, sleet falling, but they walked. At the county courthouse, they sat on the steps waiting for morning when the recruiter would open. People saw them asked why they were there.
When they found out, restaurants sent breakfast and hot coffee. People loaded with dry blankets and oilcloth tarps to hold off the rain. That was the last time anyone saw them till 1945. Elders refused to talk of their experiences but let us know quietly, like WWI, we got permission for revenge for evil done to us and to the Jews.

Dr. Jordan B. Peterson sits down with British journalist and activist Tommy Robinson. They discuss how peaceful demonstrations have been relentlessly tarred as extremist events, how the captured media and U.K.
The government has colluded to oppress and silence the majority population, how multiculturalism has not failed but activist communities have, the slew of controversies levied against Tommy — and why he keeps fighting for the truth.
Tommy Robinson is a British journalist and activist who first became an establishment target after reporting on the grooming gangs in Luton. From then on, he and his family have been smeared and punished for attempting to out those who are enabling Islamic extremism.
I’m, a Christian from the Middle East and I understand and feel every single word Tommy is saying. Islam has no place in Europe! Love you Tommy! May God keep you safe
Ilhan Omar Starts a FIGHT with Tom Homan Then THIS HAPPENED!!!!

She married her brother so her brother could get papers to come to America. Did the brother do the "open sesame?" We've been screwed by politicians for so long we got used to it.
What gets me is how they are leaving out she was already married when she married her brother and they all had the same address (living together).
Trump way behind, people started investigating her in his first term. This was reported years ago and nobody took it seriously. We live in Minnesota and have heard this forever.
Obummer was President and brought these people here.
In this episode of The Winston Marshall Show, I sit down with Dr. Andrew Bostom, scholar of Islamic history and author of The Legacy of Jihad and The Legacy of Islamic Antisemitism, for a sweeping conversation about the true history of jihad and the rise of Islamic antisemitism.
Bostom explains how the origins of jihad trace back to Muhammad’s early campaigns in Medina, where religious mission turned to imperial conquest. Drawing from original Islamic sources — he reveals how violence, slavery, and subjugation became sacralised through theology, shaping centuries of conquest from Persia and India to the Middle East and North Africa.
We explore the massacres of Jews and Christians, the destruction of Hindu and Buddhist civilisations. The system that humiliated non-Muslims under Islamic rule. Bostom also discusses the connection between early Islamic teachings and modern antisemitism, from the Hadith quoted in Hamas’s charter to Nazi alliances in the 20th century.
A detailed, uncompromising look at the forgotten history of jihad, the ideological roots of Islamic imperialism, and how centuries-old doctrines continue to influence modern conflicts across the Middle East and beyond.
I'm Hungarian and we have been occupied, too by muslims of the Ottoman empire. During 150 years, in the 16-17 century. So, we Hungarians know very well how the religion of "peace" looks like.
What German Soldiers Said When They First Fought Gurkhas
Tuesday, December 09, 2025
German soldiers were absolutely terrified when they first encountered the legendary Gurkha warriors on the World War 2 battlefield. These fearless Nepalese fighters, fighting for the British Army with their iconic kukri knives, earned a reputation that struck fear into the hearts of Nazi troops across multiple fronts.
Discover the shocking reactions and accounts from German soldiers who faced these elite mountain warriors in combat, and learn why the Gurkhas became one of the most feared fighting forces of WWII.Gurkhas are smiling assassins; polite, respectful, highly disciplined, unbelievably fit and unrelentingly ferocious.
It is right to consider them elite troops. I was a manager of factory at a remote district in India. The area had a lot of communist insurgency. These bands used to come and collect donations at gun point. We were attacked only once. Our security guard was a 17 year old Gurkha.
When the communists came all the factory staff, about 20, ran away leaving the Gurkha and me alone to face the attackers. This 17 year old stood in front of me, drawing his kukri, he told the leader , if one of you touches my manager, I will kill all of you. Go away and never come back. They did and we were never attacked again.
SEA Games selection scandal: Teen sprinter dropped over alleged fake injury By Frankie D'Cruz

KUALA LUMPUR:
A national sprint coach is under investigation after an 18-year-old
athlete alleged he was instructed to fake an injury and withdraw from
Malaysia’s 4x100m squad for the 2025 SEA Games.
The parents of the athlete, Danish Irfan
Tamrin, say the move robbed him of a rightful place and exposed a deeper
flaw in the selection system.
Danish had just returned from the Asean
School Games (ASG) in Brunei with a silver in the 100m, gold in the 200m
and gold in the 4x100m relay.

His 10.61s in the 100m placed him among Malaysia’s top four sprinters this season, qualifying him for the relay pool.
Days later, he found himself removed from the SEA Games list.
What happened in between is now the
subject of a formal complaint to Malaysia Athletics (MA), supported by
WhatsApp messages, a medical report from the National Sports Institute
(ISN), and a detailed letter of concern from his father.
MA secretary-general Nurhayati Karim met both parents and said the federation would investigate “transparently and thoroughly”.
Malaysiakini : If Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim fails to deliver meaningful reforms
within the next six months, DAP will reassess its role in the
government, party secretary-general Anthony Loke said.
However, he
was quick to stress that this does not mean DAP - which holds the
largest number of federal seats in the government - would withdraw its
support for the Madani administration and risk triggering political
turmoil.
While Loke did not specify, the reassessment could
include DAP pulling out of the cabinet and moving to the government
backbench.
Optimus : Many would not want Anwar to succeed and secure a second term. Instead, this Islamist chameleon needs to be taught a lesson by losing his deposit, as he has proven to be a PM for malays and palestinians but not for all malaysians.
Many would not want Anwar to succeed and secure a second term. Instead, this Islamist chameleon needs to be taught a lesson by losing his deposit, as he has proven to be a PM for malays and palestinians but not for all malaysians.
Jarchin : Loke, you now speak like Anwar the chameleon. List out for all to hear what are the reforms that you want the Madani government to implement in the next 6 months.
And give the undertaking that if all these reforms aren't achieved, DAP will resign from all cabinet and other government related positions. For a change hold Anwar to ransom.
TaaS : Drop the act. Stop the theatrics. Now this joke is acknowledging in public there's no change. He himself is a hopeless minister who cannot solve the aerotrain problem.
What has DAP done for past 3 years other than staying silent and waiting for pension? When DAP becomes opposition again it will not have 40 seats. 10 seats is already a bonus.
Veteran 1972 : Ah Pek, in that case DAP will fall! Will go all out to see you fall into smithereens
Transparency or theatre? Police and MACC on trial By R Nadeswaran
Malaysiakini : COMMENT | The reputation of two premier enforcement agencies – the police and the MACC – lies in tatters, battered and under siege.
Loud
voices from lawyers, civil society groups, and ordinary citizens have
been met not with accountability but with denials, deflections, and
silence.
The police, already stained by past controversies, now face fresh accusations of extra-judicial killing in Durian Tunggal, Malacca.
Three men were shot dead, and the official narrative of “self-defence” has been directly challenged by an audio recording submitted by the wife of one of the victims. Yet beyond this, silence reigns.
But
the audio, which was recorded by the wife of one of the victims, is
critical evidence that captures the final moments before the men were
shot dead on Nov 24.
Into this void steps Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, instructing Inspector-General of Police Khalid Ismail to conduct a “transparent” probe. His words are noble, but they ring hollow.
Anwar’s
call for transparency is like standing in a dark room and declaring,
“Let there be light.” Words alone do not flip the switch – you need to
wire the bulb, connect the circuit, and turn it on.
But what does
“transparent” mean in practice? And more critically, how independent can
an investigation be when the police are tasked with probing their own
officers, only to submit the findings to the minister who oversees them?
Salvage Malaysia : My observation is quite simple. I see PMX and PH compromising on many things relating to govt agencies just to buy their hearts and get their votes.
Today under this fake Reformasi govt, MACC, PDRM, AGC and now even JAC have come under heavy criticisms and a huge trust deficit from Rakyat. PH fought how bad Najib was then.
Today, they are equally as bad if not worse than Najib’s time. Deception doesn’t last long. Why haven’t these PH fellas learn from history?
CITIZEN : How can MACC reveal the contents of the tape from Albert's house? That is really asking for too much when they have to protect "my brother did it".
Was Albert's crime of such magnitude that it warranted commando style attack with weapons? Were the marauders also simultaneously ordered to kill Albert or do a Pastor Koh on him.
After all this is a gorment boleh nation run by trigger happy law ENFORCERS who only believe in law and disorder. Were not these armed ROBBERS supplied with immobilisation sprays or do they only release gas from their posterior end.
It has no named author, but Michael Anton’s style is all over it. Here
in Europe, the usual suspects are freaking out about its section on the
troubled continent. Excerpt from the NSS:
Not only can we not afford to write Europe off—doing so would be self-defeating for what this strategy aims to achieve.
American
diplomacy should continue to stand up for genuine democracy, freedom of
expression, and unapologetic celebrations of European nations’
individual character and history. America encourages its political
allies in Europe to promote this revival of spirit, and the growing
influence of patriotic European parties indeed gives cause for great
optimism. Our goal should be to help Europe correct its current
trajectory.
We will need a strong Europe to help us successfully
compete, and to work in concert with us to prevent any adversary from
dominating Europe. America is, understandably, sentimentally attached to
the European continent— and, of course, to Britain and Ireland. The
character of these countries is also strategically important because we
count upon creative, capable, confident, democratic allies to establish
conditions of stability and security. We want to work with aligned
countries that want to restore their former greatness.
It was the Visigoths burning the city of Rome in 410
AD, observed by Saint Jerome. “Who would believe that Rome would fall,
she who had been built up by the conquest of the whole world?” Jerome
wrote. Klavan captured the irony that evaded even the saint. “But even
as he wrote these words, Jerome himself had already completed a Latin
translation of the Bible which would serve as a foundation stone of
Christendom in western Europe.”
Then the movie men themselves betrayed the industry. They let politics replace art, and feminists replace filmmakers.
Two
transformative events last week made me feel a bit like Saint Jerome,
minus the sanctity and the city-torching barbarians — and I’m writing
this on the 84th anniversary of another cataclysmic instance in time,
the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. One was the European Union imposing
a €120-million fine on Elon Musk for essentially refusing to censor
posts on X. The other was Netflix’s purchase of Warner Brothers
for over $82 billion. Both signify the further fall of something great
into virtual rubble.
In truth, Europe — Britain very much included
— has been in a state of collapse for the entire 21st century,
tragically succumbing to a destructive force which it had heroically
defeated — communism. After the 1917 Russian Revolution made Marxism a
global menace to freedom, western Europe took the right side of the Cold
War and survived formidable Soviet threats. They included the Hamburg
Uprising (1923), the NKVD in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), the Iron
Curtain on Eastern Europe and East Germany (1945-1989), and the
Cambridge spy ring inside British Intelligence (exposed in 1963 but
active for 30 years).
Comrade Starmer! Sir Keir Starmer was quick to jump on claims Nigel Farage used anti-Semitic and racist language when he was at school.
Visa picture of the Commie, Keir Starmer, then 23, before he joined a youth work camp in Czechoslovakia
Daily Mail : After the Guardian reported a dossier of lurid complaints from more than 40 years ago, the Prime Minister insisted the Reform leader needed to urgently ‘explain the comments, or alleged comments’.
The claims made by more than a dozen former classmates of Mr Farage at Dulwich College in South London – which he strongly denies – are deeply unpleasant. One Jewish contemporary described how the 13-year-old Farage ‘would sidle up to me and growl: “Hitler was right” or “gas them”, sometimes adding a long hiss to simulate the sound of the gas showers’.
Another ethnic-minority pupil claimed that when he was about nine and Farage 17, the future politician would ask ‘where I was from’, before pointing away and saying: ‘That’s the way back.’
As more pupils have come forward with similar stories and the furore has grown, other senior Labour figures have followed Sir Keir’s lead. Attorney General Richard Hermer, a senior Jewish minister, said last week that Mr Farage ‘clearly deeply hurt’ many people with his alleged behaviour.
While the concerns about Mr Farage’s suspected teenage comments are clearly understandable, the Prime Minister’s decision to get involved in a row about what a rival politician allegedly did at school in the late Seventies and early Eighties inevitably invites scrutiny of his own youth.
And, as a Mail on Sunday investigation reveals, Sir Keir faces a few uncomfortable questions.
Ilhan Omar IN UTTER TERROR AS THOUSANDS Of her Voters Just got Sent BACK - Dennis Prager
Can we get our Minnesota State Flag back, they already stole our money? I don't care if they call me racist I want them all out. Look what does happening in Europe. Europe is turning into a garbage can.
Omar needs to face congress expulsion! She broke all conditions to maintain citizenship. When you breaking citizenship laws you lose your citizenship.
Omar never even tried to represent American interests. She said it in public "America will do do what we [Somalia] want it to do." That is way beyond unethical. That is treason against the United States of America-- from a sitting member of Congress.
When you start accepting immigrants who are from the peaceful faith and whose national industry is Piracy, such kind of identity politics are bound to happen.
The same should be done in the Malaysian Armed Forces, asking other faiths to raise their hands during the Fatihah. On parade, saying it is for uniformity, in 1972. Now it is like compulsory. "May the wrath of be upon them and those who go astray". Deceit at it's finest.
First broadcast in 1998, “From Jesus to Christ: The First Christians” is an exploration into the life and death of Jesus, and the men and women whose belief, conviction, and martyrdom created the religion we now know as Christianity.
"History isn't made to record the deeds of a person like Jesus." Man, this statement speaks volumes. Most people who have ever lived were poor peasants who have been forgotten in the sands of time, and yet, they are in the company of the who is perhaps the most influential person in the history of the world, who was a peasant just like them.
"I am a Jew but I am enthralled with the luminous figure of the Nazarene...
...No man can read the gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus."
Frases Albert Einstein. Drawing upon historical evidence, the series challenges familiar assumptions and conventional notions about Christian origins.
This is one of the best documentaries on Jesus that I have ever seen I think it is brilliant and beautifully done.
Freedom or Death: How Greece Defeated the Ottoman Empire (Greek War of Independence)
How did a decentralized force of irregular fighters defeat the organized military machine of the Ottoman Empire?
In 1821, the Greek War of Independence began. It was a classic example of asymmetric warfare. The Ottoman Empire possessed a standing army of Janissaries, heavy cavalry, and a massive fleet. The Greeks had no professional army—only mountain bandits (Klephts), merchant captains, and local militias.
This documentary analyzes the military history of the revolution, detailing the guerrilla tactics of Theodoros Kolokotronis in the Peloponnese, the breaking of the Ottoman naval supply lines by Konstantinos Kanaris, and the brutal siege warfare at Missolonghi.
We break down the strategic blunders of the Ottoman Porte, the terrain advantages used by Greek insurgents, and the decisive intervention of the Great Powers at the Battle of Navarino.
Malaysiakini : “We should not bow to fate, and have the right to equality. We should
not kneel and beg. We should be brave enough to stand and ask for it.”

COMMENT
| Since the so-called Sabah slap, DAP operatives have been going on a
performative spree. DAP MPs have been busy demonstrating that they are
taking the government to task, especially when it comes to issues
affecting non-bumiputera.
Not only is it performative, but it is also rather comical.
I
think the apogee of the DAP kowtowing to Madani was the complete
silence by the DAP youth and sports minister when the Football
Association of Malaysia (FAM)/International Federation of Association
Football (Fifa) scandal was playing out, and then the fait accompli “clutch my pearls” statements from the minister when it was obvious that the dust was not settling.
Existential Turd :People fault DAP not because it failed to steer the UG towards reform, but because it didn't do anything. They would have earned tremendous respect and goodwill had they tried, but failed and most likely, paid the price themselves; like the PJ councilors as chronicled by Nadeswaran.
But instead, what we got was cowardly acquiescence.
By not fighting for the people's rights and concerns, no matter who they are, they became the enabler of Malaysia's downfall towards autocracy. What is the point of giving them the power to govern, when they willingly keel over and hand it to the people who hold the exact opposite of their ideals?
As the adage goes, if you want to see a person's true character, give him/her power and wealth. Anyone can be a hero in adversity. A true test of character is when they are in power.
For the past few election cycles, DAP provides the reform credentials to whomever they partner with, but alas it is only a facade.
Instead of uplifting their partners, they wallow in their depravity.
From now on, DAP should not be judged on a higher standards, they should be judged and expected to behave just as UMNO or MCA, i.e. two-face and speaking with fork tongue.
