“We felt like we (Umno leaders) were so great in our areas, which is why we could say anything we wanted. “But those words ruined the rest of our (Umno) comrades who were not involved in such speeches.

“This is why the people punished us, not just those individuals (who were arrogant) but our party, which is why our party lost (the general election),” Johari said during the Titiwangsa Umno delegates’ meeting at Flamingo Hotel in Ampang today. He said Umno no longer has leaders who are trustworthy and wise, which also contributed to why they lost the election.

Perhaps Mahathir should investigate why the Malays can’t afford to pay for their children education.

The respondents said the most important criteria was to have the trust of Malaysians, having the vision to strengthen Umno and to help the party close ranks. Only 27 percent of respondents said the “regaining the trust of Malays” was a criterion.

The survey was conducted between June 25 and 28. A total of 69 percent of the respondents were ordinary members, eight percent were supporters but not party members while the rest were office-bearers at various levels. Only 25 percent of respondents were female.

Overall, 83 percent of those surveyed agreed that Umno was facing problems while 58 percent said the party was currently either in a “shaky” or “critical” position. The respondents said the top three reasons for BN’s poor performance during the 14th general election were: Najib Abdul Razak (40 percent of the respondents), the Goods and Services Tax (GST) (22 percent) and the 1MDB affair (14 percent).

Now: when will a city government in a majority-Muslim host a non-Muslim prayer? Why are these gestures of good will always one-sided? Why is all the “outreach” always the same side reaching out to the other?

Aren’t Malaysians tired of seeing the Malays being represented as buffoons, stupid, amok-prone, close-minded, Rempits, keris-kissing fools, Ali Baba forty-thieves, rejects, religious fanatics, red-shirts, whatever shirts?

It is a clever production and reproduction of the Malay ruling class, both feudal and wannabe-feudal so that the Jebat aspect of the Malay – the amok, the wannabe-sultan, the misogynistic, the sex-maniac royal-groper and rapist of ancient Malacca, the hedonistic, the grotesque epicure, the gangster, the absurd – is pushed forward and propagated to strengthen the Tuah aspect.

The fool that followed the foolish orders of the Malacca sultan – the bad hombre of Malay culture – these are the twin representation of the Malays. A laughing stock – the Malays are made to become.

The UMNO warlords were more worried about saving their own skin

Now party president hopeful Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah says: “I don’t think it affects our standing as a party, if this (referring to the allegations against Najib) is true." Umno has to accept responsibility and accountability and repent if it wants to regain the confidence of the rakyat as a sound opposition. If this is not understood and accepted, Umno can never rise again. As for the BN component parties, the same applies.

Internally the coalition in power - of which Umno was the dominant member - did all it could to disguise, camouflage, deny and obstruct any kind of investigation. When billions of dollars of our money was being squandered by one Jho Low, all departments of government including the Attorney-General's Chambers and the police, and of course 1MDB, said that it was not our money.

1MDB claimed it had lost nothing. The superyacht Equanimity was not ours. Foreign governments like the US and Switzerland were astonished that we did not want the return of our confiscated money. They knew it was ours. We denied it was ours. And Ku Li, you say the party's standing is unaffected?

A woman who attacked her pregnant neighbour said she was feeling unwell because she had been fasting for Ramadan. Sameena Ahmed went to confront the victim over an assault involving her daughter.

She slapped her neighbour of 10 years across the face and assaulted her victim’s partner as he came to her aid. “Watch: 200 Migrants Attempt to Storm Croatian Border Yelling ‘Allahu Akbar,’” by Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, June 26, 2018 (thanks to the Geller Report): A mob of 200 migrants attempted to storm the Croatian border at Maljevac shouting “Allahu Akbar” as they fought with police who deployed tear gas against them.

The clip, which was released over the weekend, shows the group of migrants attempting to cross a small canal and push through the line of police wearing protective gear. The incident occurred at the Croatian town of Maljevac, which lies on the border with Bosnia, Kronen Zeitung reports.

The attempted forced border crossing comes only a month after the Croatian government warned that the Balkan route was seeing tens of thousands of migrants wanting to find a new way to reach Western Europe. According to the Croatian Interior Ministry, at least 60,000 migrants are currently making their way through Greece, then Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia, and finally attempting to cross into Croatia.

The identity of a young Adelaide woman, accused of being South Australia’s first member of terror group Islamic State (ISIS), can be revealed for the first time. Zainab Abdirahaman-Khalif, 23, who moved to Australia from Somalia when she was 14, is accused of pledging her allegiance to the terror group online.

The nursing student was arrested at the Port Adelaide TAFE campus by Australian Federal Police in May last year, but a court-imposed secrecy order had prevented publication of her name and image until now.

Ms Abdirahaman-Khalif is accused of singing ISIS propaganda songs at her home and swearing her loyalty to the group online. At the time of the arrest, Assistant Commissioner Ian McCartney from Australian Federal Police said “there was online activity in terms of her engaging with … (terror) suspects around the world.”

Around 910, in one of many such episodes, a woman was executed for proclaiming that “Jesus was God and that Muhammad had lied to his followers.”

As the “populist” movement rises, EU globalists are becoming increasingly frantic. According to Jaron Lanier, a Silicon Valley virtual-reality pioneer and author of the new book Ten Arguments for Deleting Your Social Media Accounts Right Now, that addiction might be eroding your soul.

We’ll get to the book, which is worth reading, in a moment. But before that, let’s try to imagine that world without social media, if only for sport. Without social media, for instance, would the social train wreck surrounding the Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Va. — you know, the one that banished Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family this week — have devolved into the embarrassing conflagration it is today?

Sure, various people acted like jerks, but people have occasionally acted like jerks since the beginning of time. But let’s imagine l’affaire Red Hen without “the fire and ire of social media,” as the Washington Post aptly put it. It’s rather enlightening. Without social media, would we have seen a frenzied rash of vengeance-strewn over-the-top Yelp-bombings — often aimed at the wrong restaurant?

Without social media, would a woman who has the poor luck of sharing the same name as the Red Hen’s owner watch her personal information get emblazoned all over the Internet, earning death threats in return? Without social media, would the saga have wildly pinged and ponged and flamed and finally escalated to the point where a man was arrested for pelting the Red Hen with manure?

The grand plan was to split the votes by engaging in three-cornered fights in the 2018 general election. The plan was supposed to work because historical data showed the opposition will always lose whenever there was a three-cornered fight. So, PAS’ President Hadi Awang quit the Pakatan Rakyat coalition by simply accusing Chinese-based DAP of anti-Muslim and anti-Islam and whatnot.

For doing that, Mr. Hadi gets the RM90 million to be shared among his minions. They argued that because Hadi Awang dared to sue Sarawak Report over the RM90 million bribery allegation, PAS must be squeaky clean. Furthermore, the Hadi Awang has taken his fight to London, United Kingdom, something which even Najib Razak would not dare do. It was hoped that with financial backing from UMNO, PAS could bankrupt Sarawak Report due to high cost of libel trials in UK.

Of course, Mr. Nik Abduh has rubbished the audio recording as nothing but fake. Nik Abduh, unlike his father, bizarrely, has been defending Najib Razak against the accusation that the former prime minister has stolen billions of ringgit from the people – calling such allegations as political conspiracy. Essentially, the entire top leaders of PAS have become Najib defenders.

Barrister Jacob Dean has confirmed that Hadi Awang will not challenge the authenticity of the recording, hence removing the need for expert forensic evidence to identify the speaker. Hadi’s lawyers have also indicated that Nik Abduh and possibly others present at the time of the recording (including Hadi’s son-in-law, Zaharuddin Muhammad), would be among the witnesses at the next trial.

“Five-year-old gang-raped in Peshawar,” Express Tribune, June 25, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace): A five-year-old boy has been allegedly gang-raped by three teenaged students of a seminary in the Mattani area of the city. Police say they have registered a case but it was not immediately clear if they had arrested the culprits. A local resident said that the five-year-old boy was near his house in the Gulshanabad area when three seminary students forced him into the nearby seminary where they gang-raped him.

In fact, Donald Trump is the only president since the 1980s that Bijan hasn’t made suits for. They only make a few and mostly are custom-made. The “By Appointment Only” store located at Rodeo Drive of the posh Beverly Hills would on average register sales of US$100,000 for each of its clients. A pair of socks would set you back by US$100 while a tie would cost around US$1,200. A suit would cost at least US$25,000. Cashmere, alligator and kangaroo leather are the standard materials used by the “House of Bijan”.

Three asylum seekers from Syria and Palestine have been sentenced to jail for an attempted arson attack on a synagogue in Gothenburg, southern Sweden, in December last year. CCTV footage from the attack, which took place while some 30 youths were attending a Hanukkah party in the synagogue, shows more than a dozen masked men throwing Molotov cocktails at the building and nearby cars.

However, just three men, aged 19, 22 and 24, were arrested and charged in connection with the incident. The arson attack took place just days after President Donald Trump had announced that the U.S. would recognise Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Court documents state that at least six Molotov cocktails – glass cider bottles filled with flammable liquid – were thrown at the synagogue on December 9, 2017.

Between ten and 20 masked men were involved in the attack, which took place just after 10pm. The prosecution argued that the charges were aggravated by ‘the crime’s motive to violate an ethnic group because of its beliefs’. The young Jewish people celebrating Hanukkah in the building, briefly took shelter in a cellar during the attack, but no one was injured. The court added that the attack’s ‘purpose was to threaten, harm and violate both the members of the Jewish community and the Jewish people as a whole.’

Mohammed Mohamed is accused of trying to hire a hitman to murder a Houston police officer because he was upset the officer was giving him code violation tickets for his business, a plot that went awry when authorities learned about it before it could take place. Authorities faked the officer’s murder to convince Mohamed that the police officer was dead, the chief says. Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo held a press conference to announce the arrest on June 26, 2018, and he also released a mugshot of the suspect. Mohamed, 47, is facing a charge of solicitation for capital murder, the chief said. Here’s what you need to know:

1. Mohamed Is Accused of Hiring an Undercover Officer Posing as a Hitman for $2,000

Acevedo said the officer who was targeted is a community police officer. He said such officers enforce quality of life issues. The officer has been on the force for about 20 years… The suspect wanted the officer dead because he thought the officer was interfering with his business, said the police chief. He said it would cost him thousands of dollars to bring the business up to code.

At first, the suspect wanted someone to disable the officer by throwing acid in his face, alleged the chief. Then, he decided that wasn’t enough. He wanted “him killed because that’s the only way this would go away. The suspect specifically wanted to hire a hitman,” said the police chief.
He was willing to pay $2,000 for the murder, said the chief.

2. Mohamed, Who Owns a Shipping Business, Wanted the Murder to Happen After Ramadan, Authorities Allege

…He “wanted our officer dead. He was adamant that he would not meet the hit man until the end of Ramadan,” Acevedo alleged, saying that Mohamed allegedly hired a hitman “because he got tickets.” Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is observed by Muslims throughout the world as a month involving fasts….

The chief noted that authorities are hoping for no bail in the case because Mohammed Mohamed “has ties back home in Egypt” making him a potential flight risk. “We’re hopeful that no bail is given to this individual,” the chief said adding that the officer “was targeted for doing his sworn duty.”

Abasir: I wonder if ‘Datin Seri Bonnie’ and ‘Datuk Seri Clyde’ realised the stash they squirrelled away to the Pavilion Residences would blow up the way it did? This haul really highlights the quintessence of Umno's struggle. It spotlights the culture of aspiration, acquisition and ostentation that Umno struggled so hard for so long to impart among its more rabid followers.

This is truly leadership by example and if so, points to the possibility that all others in Umno's supreme council have similar hordes tucked away somewhere. Therefore, an inspection of the vaults, suitcases and pillowcases of all the others who struggled for ‘bangsa’ dan ‘agama’ (and plotted and connived to remain in the struggle during every Umno election) should reveal billions more.

In the end, two things should be clear to everyone - the New Economic Policy (NEP) as crafted by the crafty Abdul Razak Hussein has been a success beyond anyone's wildest dreams, and being part of Umno’s ‘struggle’ pays really handsomely.

Under the guise of the clarion call of helping the poor Malays, a select group of privileged Malays have plundered the country for over six decades and left those who actually needed help to rot.

Najib is not the disease, he is but a symptom. He couldn't have done this without the connivance of so many people in power and authority along the gravy train tracks. The focus should be helping all Malaysians who are poor and in need, not just Malays. If you still want to pursue the NEP, by all means, but please use the money recovered from this looting by the masters and beneficiaries of NEP.

Invest the hard-earned taxpayer money to enable other well-meaning Malaysians to work hard to prosper the country. Remember, you would not have won the election, if not for the enlightened ordinary Malays who themselves were disgusted with Umno and money politics. That is why despite all the money and goodies thrown at them before the 14th general election, the people turned their back on Umno. Don't think continuing NEP in its current form will win popularity among the Malays, otherwise you will face the same fate as BN.
