Islamic State jihadi asks to be freed so he can keep other Muslims from “making the same mistake that I did”

Jihad Watch : “I accidentally joined a mafia in Iraq and Syria, maybe not a mafia,
but a very bad group of people, thinking they are Muslims.
If I had
learned Islam properly, If I had understood I would have learned that
these were a very bad group of people. I wouldn’t have been in the
situation that I’m in.”
This kind of talk is music to the ears of Western leaders, but once
again it is non-specific.
Jack Letts joined the Islamic State in the
first place because he thought it was living out Islam properly. What
exactly convinced him that it was actually un-Islamic? He doesn’t say,
and of course no establishment media “journalist” had the wit to ask
him.
Meanwhile, jihad recruiters still quote the Qur’an and Sunnah to
potential recruits, in order to convince them that jihad violence is the
