Keep singing classic 'Malays weak' Umno tune and perish, Rafizi tells Bersatu

Rafizi Ramli

BOBBYO : The main enemy of the Malays are Malays themselves. There was a saying that if you see a snake and an lndian, you strike the Indian. Well it have come true for the Malays as the gap between the Elites, politicians and the cronies is becoming wider. The rich are getting richer by the day The Sapura saga is just one example. In the end is the poor Malay taxpayer that have to help bail out the rich cronies and Directors that had reaped from the Sapura mismanagement.

The Malays do not be fooled that they are not contributing to the taxes of this nation. Being the major race, they are the biggest consumption tax payers. From a needle to the house they purchase, is all taxable. Yet they are told in no certain terms that they are weak and need crutches. Educated with an education, that have limitations to their future earning power or job prospects, the Elites together with the politicians have made sure that they remain as dependers.

Even the education facilities and scholarships are taken up by those connected. Those that can afford to send their children to the best schools grab every opportunity they get. Majority of the Malays earn less than 3000.00 a month. For a family this should be considered as a poverty case. With cost so high today a family can hardly survive on this income.

Those at the top of the class, reward themselves with huge salaries, perks and even have avenues to make money on the side Look at the humongous salaries and bonuses they give themselves. They hesitate to approve 1500 as the basic pay, but they will not hesitate to take hundreds of thousands in salaries and bonuses for themselves Even Pas is no different. Look at the bonuses and luxury cars they award their leader's.

They have installed in the minds of the Malays, that they are mentally slow and due to that they need help. Even in the education exams, they are given a help to score higher marks. All these might help them to find a job that pays a comfortable salary. But they are risking the future of the nation and especially the majority race. A wrong decision may not only put one life in jeopardy , but may result in the lost of much more. As we have expirieced certain tragedies due to the incompetence of those involved.

That is why, our leaders are guiding or taking their people along the wrong path. Many Malaysian Malays have proven without a reasonable doubt vthat they are more than capable. There are much success story's not only in this nation but around the four corners of the world, where Malays have proven themselves. As the saying goes, the main enemy of the Malays are those Malays that are using them as stepping stones to enrich their own families and friends.

It is time if they want this nation to succeed, unshakable them and see the Malays soar higher. If not time will come, where the poor Malays will remain slaves of the Elites, politicians or even their cronies. Or the second scenario will be, that they will become slaves of those who will come in and rescue them from a path to financial doom. At the rate the money is flowing through these hands of the Elites, politicians and cronies, we may be another replica of the nation Sri Lanka.

Why wait until that scenario happen, when even now we can let the full potential of what a Malay can achieve be released. Unless those Malays at the top have intention to aqueeze the golden goose until it is dead and have no use to them.

Malaysiakini : Bersatu is seeking to thrive on the spiel that the Malays are neo-feudal, tribal and possess a protector-complex mentality, charged PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli. The Muhyiddin Yassin-led party, he said, is stereotyping the Malays as weak - almost similar to Umno's characterisation of the race over the decades.

However, Rafizi described this as a delusional stratagem, which would backfire on Bersatu.“It is to Bersatu's detriment if they assume that Malays are neo-feudal and tribal,” he told Malaysiakini.
