(Sweden) Imam Campaigns Against Muslim Attacks on Jews

The government of Malmo was not "timid" in fighting antisemitism. The governing SD (Social Democrat) mayor Reepalu in Malmo was quite on board with spreading antisemitism. He did it himself.

This is one of the reasons that the Nordic nations are not interested in tribalistic groups emigrating to their countries. Muslim immigrants who themselves are not integrating well into those countries, are in turn, threatening, bullying, etc, the small Jewish population. That Jewish population who have lived in the Nordic countries for + 1000 years, obviously have nothing to do with the Israel / Palestine issue.

I think the problem is that we teach antisemitism in schools from a very Eurocentric perspective and in Sweden from a very northern European perspective. We barely touched the subject about the Alhambra decree. We need to expand the knowledge about anitisemitism, not just from a European perspective but also teach about antisemitism on other continents .

Most of the muslim population in Malmö come from Arab countries and we need to teach them about antisemitism and Jewish life from their own homeland. Some of the immigrant communities live in enclaves and it is as if they never left their homeland. It would have a greater impact if we thaught the kids about jewish history,good and bad, that happened in countries that are closer to "home". Antisemitism didn't start and end with the Holocaust, sadly the school system in Sweden hasn't realised this.
