Malaysiakini : MIC president S Vigneswaran has suggested that he may be contesting a seat closer to the Klang Valley instead of his party’s former stronghold of Sungai Siput.
Read it all here, subscription required.................Initially, he said he will be vying for Sungai Siput in Perak, as previously reported. When asked recently if this has been confirmed, however, he said, “Got to wait for announcement. Anything can change. Maybe somewhere nearer,” he said.
Vigneswaran (above), who has served as Special Envoy of the Prime Minister to South Asia, was asked to clarify if he meant a constituency nearer to Sungai Siput or the Klang Valley.
Vijay47 : Vikneswaran, don’t fret over Sungei Siput and Cameron Highlands. These are minor molehills that can easily be resolved through the spirit of Barisan brotherhood which you have espoused long and often. Just turn to your benefactor Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, he would be more than willing to allow MIC and especially you in stand in a sure-win seat, Bagan Datuk.
apanama is back : MIC president S Vigneswaran, what is happening with your strategic partnership with UMNO Baru? Are you servant to your master, UMNO Baru? Looks like that. Enjoy. Maybe you won't get any seat because Zahid Hamidi wants to win BIG. He is a boisterous fellow.
Windsurfer : Vicky as President you should stand in Tapah. There is no point in thinking about standing in Sg Siput or Klang when you are scared. Maybe you could stand in Pekan. Win it and take Najib’s place in Kajang.
Demi Rakyat : Umno said no. So, MIC saluted and said 'Yes SIR "! Sigh!!
