Free Najib? BN won't meddle in judiciary like Harapan - Asyraf By Haspaizi Zain

Malaysiakini : Umno Youth chief Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said BN will not “interfere in judicial affairs” like Pakatan Harapan if his coalition succeeds in claiming Putrajaya after the 15th general election (GE15).

Speaking to the media today, he cited the release of opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim in 2018 after Harapan took over the federal government.

He was asked to comment on Pejuang chairperson Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s allegation that BN will free imprisoned former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak if they return to power.

“I think the matter was never discussed at the party level. And we will not repeat what Harapan did when they took over the administration.

GoldenTiger5095 : Oh dear, , just to recall Anwar was jailed on a rather debatable charge of sodomy . The complainant met up with the deputy PM, the IGP before making a police report , strange indeed , no interference ?! .

He went on for 3 further days before a doctor examined him and found DNA traceable to the perpetrator in the victims rectum . Wow 3 days he never opened his bowels . Strange and stranger indeed .

And if i recall Anwar nearly completed his term in jail . Like the gentleman politician Musa Hitam said if he had pursued his political ambitions he would also probably would have been charged for sodomy .! Yes long live UMNO.
