Malaysiakini : Incumbent Jerlun MP Mukhriz Mahathir has announced he intends to defend his seat in the upcoming 15th general election (GE15).

“Hence, I offer myself to continue representing Jerlun as its elected representative.
“With full humility, Pejuang, which is a component of Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA), and I would like to ask to be given your trust to serve all the people of Jerlun once more,” said the Pejuang president in a video on Facebook today.
Knucklehead : Put a good MUDA candidate there and dethrone him! You are there just because of your father, both must go! Same for Langkawi, end the family in politics
Kuniyo : He can’t step outside his father shadow just like how some entitled malay can’t let go NEP policy.
