Malaysiakini : MIC president SA Vigneswaran has dismissed a report suggesting that
the party has put forward a resolution to free former prime minister
Najib Abdul Razak from imprisonment.
“It is not in the manifesto, and the report does not represent MIC,” he told Malaysiakini.
Vigneswaran (above)
said this when asked to comment on a news report claiming that the MIC
annual delegates assembly today is bringing forward a resolution to free
Najib, who is currently jailed at Kajang prison over graft charges.
The
report said the resolution is in recognition of the former premier’s
contribution to the country and the Indian Malaysian community.
apanama is back : MIC will go for this kind of resolution. Crooks will help crooks. Wipe MIC out of this GE15, The party should be zero! The party should be forgotten one!
NoobMaster69 : We might need 1 or 2 Indian representative to be in the opposition.
