Zahid's speech at MIC AGM comes under scrutiny - Basically a confession, where he hung himself and others

Malaysiakini : : Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi's recent speech has come under scrutiny after he suggested that BN leaders could face criminal trials if their coalition loses the next general election.

Speaking at the MIC annual delegates assembly on Monday, Zahid said this can only be avoided if BN has a "dominant victory" at the polls.

"Candidates from MIC, Umno, MCA and PBRS have to win in a dominant fashion. It's now or never. This election is the mother of all general elections. If we fail, our fate will be worse than the last election.

"Right now, only I will be charged, Tok Mat (Umno deputy president Mohamad Hasan), you are on the waiting list, Tan Sri Vicky (MIC president SA Vigneswaran) don't laugh, you are also included. What more (MIC deputy president and caretaker human resource minister S) Saravanan?

"(MCA president and caretaker transport minister Wee) Ka Siong? They won't forget you. You will be charged as well. (Caretaker defence minister) Hisham (Hishammuddin Hussein), don’t smile.

"To avoid this, we have to win in a dominant manner, my brothers and sisters," said Zahid.

Sun : A desperate drowning man trying to drag his colleagues and his party down with him. If voters cannot see this then we are condemned as a nation.

Knucklehead : BN/UMNO called for early GE15 to save themselves from court cases and going to jail and they are not ashamed to say it! We the rakyat must stand together to vote them out and make sure they are charged in court and go to jail! We need to clean up this country, make a difference in GE15, vote PH to continue the good deeds they started! Keep that hopeless Mahathir out of all these! #HancurkanUMNO

OceanMasterII : I watched that video clip and it is really so dangerous, immoral, and demeaning of our existence as a nation. Zahid is implying that all the institutions including judiciary and Royal houses are subservient to the politicians. For such a terrifying idea and proposal, all those named by Zahid and himself must be investigated under SOSMA 2012.

Kilimanjaro : Shouldn't we thank Zahid for saying the obvious - on why UMNO/BN wants to win GE15? This is more so the reason to make sure UMNO/BN loses, and loses so badly that it woud not be able to resurrect.
