The government understood the combination of better training and financing for the American pilots as well as the better planes used by the Allies made it impossible for the Japanese Empire to keep up with their enemies.But the truth is both more complex and tragic. In the last few years of WWII, Japan wasn't doing well. Their armed forces were inferior to the Allies. Their air force wasn't as strong as it was before, and the Japanese had lost many experienced pilots during the war.

When we talk about Japan's participation in WWII, almost everyone immediately remembers the kamikaze pilots that aimed their planes at the Allies' ships.
