Fugitive Malaysian Financier Accused of Embezzling Billions and Funding Obama Campaign

An accessory to that crime, Obummer!!!

CharlieKirk : Leonardo DiCaprio, one of the biggest movie stars in the world, made headlines recently for his involvement in a federal trial involving a Malaysian financier, Jho Low.

The trial centers around what appears to be a money-funneling scheme that was designed to donate tens of millions of dollars to Barack Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign, the New York Post reported.

The scheme was allegedly run by Prakazrel “Pras” Michel, the founder of the Fugees, who was recruited by Low to funnel money to Obama’s campaign.

Foreigners are not allowed to contribute to US campaigns, so Michel allegedly took “tens of millions of dollars” from Low to lobby the government on behalf of the Chinese government.

The money was passed off to 20 “straw donors” from June to November 2012, who made the contributions to the Obama campaign in their names so that the money couldn’t be tracked back to Low.

DiCaprio’s involvement in the saga stems from his relationship with Low. The two were said to have partied together, and Low apparently suggested to DiCaprio during a conversation that he intended to contribute to Obama’s presidential campaign. DiCaprio testified that it was a casual conversation about political parties, and that he simply told Low which party he supported. He added that Low told him that he and a group were going to make a significant contribution to the Democratic Party.
