Once I arrive, I explore the local village to get a feel for their way of life, as i talk to their elders, kids and visit their waterfall, their own private swimming pool. In the afternoon I get to try the traditional Dayak cuisine, Nasi Humbal cooked inside of bamboo.
Finally, I cap off my adventure with some adrenaline-fueled bamboo rafting down the beautiful rivers of Loksado. The rush of the rapids combined with the serene natural surroundings make for an unforgettable experience.Next up, I take on the challenge of hiking Bukit Batu Langara, a stunning mountain with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The trek is not for the faint of heart, but the sense of accomplishment and the views make it all worth it.
