While you strengthen your hold on the masses. What happened to your promises, to alleviate the suffering of the low income Veterans who are dead (for their dependents), maimed and crippled? Just before elections you went around selling your snake oil as you needed their votes. Now that you are PM, that is out of sight and out of mind?  The disparity in the current pension of the guys who have grown fat and ugly is enormous, who actually did shit. We have been patient like forever and getting fed up!! 

Malaysiakini : For the first time in history, the prime minister's Aidilfitri open house will be moved out of the Klang Valley. In a statement today, the Prime Minister’s Department said the events will be held in Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu - all PAS-controlled states.

Kedah will host the national level event on April 29 at Hotel Raia, Alor Setar from 10am to 2pm. This will be followed by the second leg at the Sultan Muhammad IV Stadium in Kota Bharu on May 12, which will kick off at 7pm.

The following day will see the third leg at the Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Kuala Terengganu, also at night. According to the Prime Minister’s Department, similar events will be held in Selangor, Penang and Negeri Sembilan. However, dates have not been announced.

All events are being coordinated by the Prime Minister’s Department's Performance and Coordination Unit (Pacu). State governments will be hosting the events and supported by a federal ministry.

The Home Affairs Ministry will be aiding the Kedah event while the Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Ministry and the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry will assist the Kelantan and Terengganu leg respectively.

MAT M DIN : The PKR has to be given the opportunities to administer the three states, Kelantan, Terengganu and Kedah in order to accelerate the development of the states. The three states are the most underdeveloped states in Malaysia and the poorest. Why are they the poorest ?

The simple reason for the failure is - it has been poorly mismanaged by PAS. PAS is a political Party which is led wholly by Islamic religious leaders. Being religious leaders, they are not found fit and suitable to look after the political administration of the states.

For its bungling in the political administration of the states, the states remain the poorest and the most underdeveloped. It only manages to provide life with the barest of necessities - kais pagi makan pagi, kais petang makan petang. With poor purchasing power, the states are not able to attract foreign investment, resulting the young being jobless for years on end.

It failed to invest heavily on education, especially on subsidising the poor in the preprimary education to enable them to catch up and be well educated. They remain bodoh (stupid) and not able to climb out of the poverty trap. Therefore, it is time for the states to have a change of government to enable them to be more economically developed and raise their status to the level of the other developed states.
