Sanusi, the Loud Mouth.......

Malaysiakini : COMMENT | Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor is a one-eyed jack: he sees things to the ruthless exclusion of nuances.

He can use state government resources to campaign for political advantage, as he did on April 17 when hosting two student groups for dinner at his residence.

However, when Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim shapes to use federal resources to host Open Houses for Hari Raya in six states, that’s blatant electioneering, in Sanusi’s view.

Two years ago, Sanusi (above) declined to grant a state holiday for Thaipusam but a year later, in 2022, when the national polls were looming, he reverted to declaring that festival a holiday, to entice voters ahead of the vote.   In other words, it’s kosher when I do it but not when my opponent does so.

BOBBYO : If every leader is more bothered about his accomplishments rather than playing politics, this nation would have reached great heights. From the time TDM took over, right down to the last PM, it was one failure after another, or one scandal after another.

In all these years, there were many politicians born and some were in the making. Sanusi is one of them. Growing in that political surrounding, what do you expect of the quality of politicians. The percentage of those who are in to serve are few in numbers. Majority are there for the kill.

Murder the State or National Treasury. Clean the statev of its timber and raw materials. Chepat kaya is the main prirority. Sanusi is no exception. After Pas have expirience the perks and priveleges, there is this internal lust to hold on to the power. A good example is their leader Hadi. Collecting hundreds of thousands in salaries and perks for work hardly done.

Yet he is still manipulating and scheming to return back to his position. Sanusi is no different. A good leader will concentrate on the State's and resident's welfare. His work will show his efforts and contribution. Yet here he is, frighten of his own shadow.

Frighten that Anwar who is doing the actual work, may prove to the Kedah residents of Sanusi's failures in managing the state. The honey moon is over. The green wave have lost its pull. As Anwar works towards the very important needs of the people. Yes it is the basic needs that have to be looked in to.

Finding solutions to the people's problem. Eradicating corruption as it have caused this nation much harm. What have Sanusi contributed to the state ? What investments have he brought compared to Anwar ? How have he improved the transport, education, health and other facilities in the State ?

Yes the fear is killing him, that the present administration may not regain Kedah, but make inroads to winning some seats. It would not look good for him. It will show failure on his part. He is n a mode of panic. No wonder all the unintelligent statements and decisions.
