The story pertaining to DSP Bob Graver PGB occurred during confrontation. Graver who served in Malaya and was awarded a George Medal was the first European to be decorated with Malaysia' 2nd highest award for courage.

Graver was on a operation Indonesian troops across the border at near Engkilili acting on information received and he led a group of PFF personal of B Coy PFF which was under his command and made a surprise attack on an enemy's post.

Accompanied by Inspector Rentap from Lubok Antu the attack was very successful. However, when they were retreating, DSP Bob was killed a wounded enemy soldier. He was beheaded by the enemy and his head preserved inside a big glass jar.
