What we know about the deadly Gaza hospital blast • FRANCE 24 English

We tell you what we know about the blast that killed hundreds in the Al-Ahli Gaza hospital, based on verified videos, images and geospatial findings, in this edition of Truth or Fake. How dare Hamas allow professional investigators on the scene? Absolutely not!

Many news photos of the impact site in the hospital parking lot show a very small, impact crater (less than 6-feet in diameter). These photos also show likely manned, refugee, parked vehicles that were severely burned, but not blown apart. Thus, the blast appears to be from a missile, that crashed with a full fuel tank that caused a 100-yard-wide, fire blast with shrapnel.

What happened is that the rocket exploded the engine in the air, but not the fuel. When it fell, it caused the fuel to explode and the cars began to burn with their own gasoline. Videos and photos taken after the incident indicate an explosion and fire in the hospital parking lot, not the hospital itself being damaged. Photos after the incident show no damage to the hospital structure.

The evidence shows it was an errant rocket launched from Gaza not from Israel. If it was an Israeli bomb or missile there would be a large crater in the parking lot and there is only a small one. Videos show a relatively small number of people being taken to another hospital no videos show hundreds of dead bodies so the casualty numbers also appear to be a fabrication.

How did hundreds of bodies disappear so quickly? Where were they taken?
