"If They DARE Insult Our Dead On Armistice Day"

As a pro Palestinian march is set to take place on Saturday 11th November, better known as Armistice day in the United Kingdom, there have been calls to ban the demonstration, while others believe the right to free speech means it should be allowed to go ahead. Nick De Bois speaks with former defence minister Sir Gerald Howarth on the issue.

My dad was a Dunkirk survivor. He and many other brave men like him should not be disrespected. Disgraceful! Ban the marches. How utterly refreshing to hear a conversation that echoes the sentiment of the majority of British citizens. If our current conservative MPs and PM exhibited the common sense and patriotism of Nick and Sir Gerald, we would not have reached this shameful point in our history. Thank you gentlemen, you have my utmost respect.

A protest on Armistice Day would be a direct, provocative and deliberate insult to our fallen hero’s. This goes to the very core of our country, culture and history of respect. It will speak volumes about the people we have welcomed into our country and to those that have been radicalised to hate everything we stand for.

Why does it seem that we are being treated as second class citizens in our own country....teargas their arses!!!
