Movie for this long weekend. A Spanish slave trader seeking redemption joins the mission founded by a Jesuit in South America for the purpose of converting natives to Christianity. Wonderful fresco on a controversial period in history, winner of an Academy Award, the Palme d'Or and Golden Globes.
