Bangladesh: Human rights abusers go on UN missions

With this investigation, we can reveal that two of the UN's troop contributing countries — Bangladesh and Sri Lanka — are sending officers on peacekeeping missions who are implicated human rights violations like torture and extrajudicial killings back home. The UN is seemingly turning a blind eye.

For this story we teamed up with Netra News and Süddeutsche Zeitung. An Investigation by Naomi Conrad, Arafatul Islam & Birgitta Schülke. In cooperation with Netra News, Süddeutsche Zeitung, And several others, who, for security reasons, cannot be named.

This awami league regime has made Bangladesh a place of no living. Thanks DW.I am asking international community to help us in this situation. The situation in Bangladesh is Very much bad. All the sectors in bd are corrupted. R@pists,abusere dont get proper punishments if they are connected with Awami League.

If anyone dares to say something againt the govt, he is killed or threatened and kidnapped. Most of public universities allows students politics that hampers the education. Even text books have politically biased statements. Its same for BNP.

We are basically in a loop.
