This is an inaccurate title...."The day Britain burned India" is perhaps more suitable. In its pursuit of power and wealth, Britain, historically, has been repeatedly guilty of the worst imaginable crimes. There was no state or country known as Pakistan. To commemorate the 75th Independence Day in both India and Pakistan, Channel 4 broadcast a two-part documentary to show the process of how India and Pakistan came to be after the British Empire left.
