The results of India's general elections will be declared tomorrow. As per the exit polls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set for a third term. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which is led by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to win 355 to 370 seats according to the News18 Mega exit poll.
Great Achievement of Indian democracy to conduct such mammoth elections year by year..Kudos to Indian peopleSince the Lok Sabha majority mark is 272, the NDA is projected to cross it comfortably. As per these numbers, the BJP-led NDA is falling short of its 400 plus seats mark but the projection is still impressive for an alliance seeking its third consecutive term. On the other hand, the Opposition INDI alliance is projected to win 125 to 140 seats. However, the Opposition has thrashed the exit polls and has claimed that the INDI alliance will win more than 295 seats, which is enough to form the government. Exit polls are never 100% accurate but these numbers do suggest a landslide victory for PM Modi-led NDA. Will the actual results mirror the exit poll projections?
