One immoral religious teacher is one too many, Hadi By Mariam Mokhtar

Malaysiakini : COMMENT | When it comes to immoral acts committed by teachers and wardens in religious schools, what really is the PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang’s top priority?

Are the teachers’ reputations prioritised over the well-being and mental health of the children? Is the safety of the children being traded for the school’s reputation? Parents have absolute trust in our teachers, religious schools, regulatory bodies and government, but when things go wrong, must we also keep silent?

Hadi said the media hypes immoral acts committed by teachers and wardens in religious schools and because of this, people despise Islam and its teachings. He claimed that sexual crimes involving perpetrators who are not religious were covered up. What evidence does he have to support this?

Cakap tak serupa bikin : Hadi's concern is obviously not the well being of students and parents. He is only interested in making his religion look good or prevent it from looking bad. As simple as that.

Positive_Thinking : We can’t blame them, can we! Look at the lifestyle of the person they are suppose to emulate…what is there not to despise? Are you all that blind when the root cause is blaring right in front of your faces?? We know how women and children are treated in Malaysia.
