Please share this far and wide. Most Malaysians have forgotten us and successive Governments want to bury our cries for justice and fairness. All the Veterans are asking for are legitimate. It is for their long suffering families, their wives and children. Majority of them, who pensioned before 2013 are destitute.
These are the soldiers who fought, got maimed and killed for the nation. A nation that forgets its veterans will itself be forgotten. Every influence, every motive, that provokes the spirit of murder among men, impelled to deeds of violence, honor, faith and sacrifice for the love of the nation, is conveniently forgotten by those in the corridors of power.
They use us as their canon fodder and these people have everything. Whilst our loved ones suffer for want. “I wonder what will happen to people like you and me, when there are no more wars to occupy us?”
