How Salwan Momika’s Murder Backfired for Islamists

From Friendly Ex-Muslim. Salwan Momika was murdered for burning the Quran, and the refusal of Muslim influencers to condemn his killing proves why we must push back against violence and intimidation. I respond to Ali Dawah and Saajid Lipham's take on him. I saw hundreds if not thousands of Muslims cheering and joking about his death online… and I found it extremely disturbing

Killing people for insulting your religion only proves how "peaceful" your religion is. Edit: For those who doesn't get what I did here, I implied that murderers prove that they are 0% peaceful. Edit 2: I'm also quoting "peaceful" to make it more obvious for others. I guess that sarcasm and plot twists aren't everyone's piece (no pun intended) of cake.

I left islam after this incident, so yeah it is backfiring. Show me ONE country where Muslims have integrated well? Show me ONE muslim country where non-muslims are treated equally? It gets its power from apostasy laws along with fear. The more we disrespect it, the more it loses its’ grip on society.

Why don't we interview the thousands of Christians in Nigeria, Malawi, Kenya, Pakistan, Sudan how they feel about the peaceful people???
