Malaysiakini : Summary
PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar condemns the 22-year prison sentence given to Tunisian Parliament speaker Sheikh Rached Ghannouchi, calling it a politically motivated attack on democracy.
She urges the global community to stand against the Tunisian regime's repression and demand the release of all political prisoners.
PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar has issued a global call to condemn a 22-year prison sentence imposed on Tunisia’s speaker of Parliament Sheikh Rached Ghannouchi.
Cakap lain bikin lain : Here TBH and Ahmad Sarbaini are dead already 16 years. Koh, Amri, Ruth & Helmy missing and presumed dead with zero interest from Anwar govt to resolve. But some of us are interested in 22 year prison sentence given to politician in the ME?
Doubtful: Dear Nurul, Please speak up against the weaponisation of race and religion against the minorities of this country first...
Proarte : The Arab Spring was hijacked by the Islamists who then went on a rampage of terror and killings. In Egypt, the Muslim Brotherhood made a mess of the democratic aspirations of the people only to see violence and repression taking place.
The army did not standby for long and General al Sisi seized power providing the much needed peace. Interesting to note that Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. It is not surprising it harbours a rabidly violent extremist Islamist ideology.
Also, the Ennadha party has had close links with Hamas. It voted down a bill intending to give women equal inheritance rights , so much for its democratic principles. It has a rabidly anti -LGBT stance. Nurrul should come clean over Ennadha's true Islamic and anti-human rights agenda.
Unicorn2046 : The father & daughter team does have a very clear goal: foreigners didahulukan.
BlueLynx2013 : There's hunger strike going on inside and outside Sg Buloh prison. Like father, daughter too only interested in international publicity.
MerdekaMerdekaMerdeka : Nurul Izzah, who credited the Tunisian people as having courageously ignited the Arab Spring in 2011, said they deserve a future rooted in the ideals of their revolution - freedom, dignity, and justice.’
Gazan Junior, don’t OUR orang asli community deserve freedom from the frequent oppressions they face both from the government and illegal activities that flagrantly encroach their ancestral lands? Don’t the deserve dignity in the way they are treated, what with them being the bona fide bumiputras of this nation?
Where is the justice in championing the peoples of another nation when our are neglected for the same reasons ie FREEDOM, DIGNITY and JUSTICE? So, is your Polity trail blazing or has it Politely bowed out?
Shanmugam V K Subrayan : Wow, finally the so-called reformasi princess has spoken. Father champions Hamas and now daughter champions Tunisia. What about the reforms that were promised for the Malaysians? SOSMA is still actively practiced here. That is OK?
YellowLeopard3694 : certainly not fighting for justice ... she is fighting for Ikhwan like her father (who fights for hamas and a good friend of erdogan , another major figure in the International muslim brotherhood). ennahda party basic philosophy is from ikhwan.
1. What does Tunisia got to do with us?...
2. What about those affected in Malaysia?
3. So you and your father only speak about humanity when the affected person is a family friend?
Read it all here.....This show how callous you have become after your father became peemx!! No Malaysian is gonna trust you, your father and your mother again!!!
