• DAP Youth chief Woo Kah Leong slams Perak opposition leader Razman Zakaria for allegedly turning to the police over a clown caricature, calling it an overreaction that reflects Perikatan Nasional’s intolerance of criticism.

• Woo, who is under police investigation, defends satire as a legitimate form of political commentary, warning of dire consequences if such sensitivity is normalised in governance.

• He also criticises the alleged misuse of state agencies to silence dissent, saying political leaders must accept public scrutiny in a democracy.

Perak opposition leader Razman Zakaria’s “excessive” reaction to a cartoon of himself as a clown hints at the “thin-skinned and easily offended” nature of Perikatan Nasional politicians.

According to DAP Youth chief Woo Kah Leong, who is being investigated by police over the allegedly offensive caricature of Razman, the PAS man’s actions have cast doubt over whether the party deserves to be part of the government.

“(Razman’s) excessive reaction shows that he fears freedom of expression, dreads criticism, and is seeking to misuse agencies to silence dissent to create a ‘white terror’ phenomenon.

“Our country practices a democratic system. Can PAS not accept a single satirical image? Just imagine if they were given the chance to govern again - how would they treat dissenting voices?” Woo questioned in a statement today.

Stressing that satire is a form of public oversight and not a personal attack, Woo, who is also the Perak domestic trade executive councillor, said there would be “unimaginable consequences” if politicians who file police reports at will were to hold power in the future.

drngsc: PAS is not fit for any earthly good. They are only good for life hereafter. May they all rest in peace and leave Malaysia alone so that we can all live in peace and harmony and not be irritated by these annoying mosquitoes.

Optimus : PAS is a one way party where their extremist members can simply lie, slander and criticize but when criticized by others, would be crying wolf and running to the police. Such hypocrisy. 

It is precisely this kinda of balless "refrain from taking side jabs onto PAS as it is not your role to dish out any wisdom" attitude that have emboldened this religious bigot to feel they are the untouchables, where PAS members can lie, slander and criticise the nons but the nons are too afraid to bite back and put PAS back into their tempurungs or caves. 

Let's call a spade a spade, and the truth is for all to see that PAS is not fit for purpose whichever way one sees it, except for those who were willingly brainwashed by the fake lebai and gang.
