Dishonoring The Veterans After Living Off The Lives And Blood By The Ungrateful - Reneging Of Commitments To The Malaysian Veterans - Were Our Sacrifices Worth It, As Now We Are Spat Upon!

Updated, Please Share With Everyone, Especially Our Politicians !!!!

My fellow veterans, I write in anticipation of November 6th to address a profound debt of honour owed to a generation of heroes—we, the Malaysian Armed Forces veterans.

These men and women stood guard over our peace, dedicating the prime years of their lives to the sanctity and security of our nation. Owed to them is profound, enduring gratitude.

Yet, an injustice shadows this gratitude, an injustice rooted in bureaucracy and timing: the issue of pensions for those who served prior to the 2013 salary and scheme revision. The heart of the dilemma is simple but devastating: a technical disparity in calculation has left us, the pre-2013 veterans significantly short-changed.

Despite equal or even longer years of service compared to our peers who retired after the revision, our financial security is fundamentally compromised. We are not seeking a handout; we are demanding the parity and dignity we earned through our unwavering sacrifice.

This is more than an administrative oversight; it is a moral test for our society. We cannot allow a bureaucratic cut-off date to define the value of our contribution. The promise of a pension is the foundation of a dignified retirement.

When that foundation is weak, the nation's integrity suffers. We call upon the government and the relevant authorities to immediately implement a comprehensive and retrospective harmonisation of the pension structure. Every day that passes is a betrayal of the oath we took to protect the nation.

It is time to honour the commitment to us fully. Let us settle this debt of honour, restore our financial dignity, and truly recognise the lifetime of service we gave to Malaysia.

SOME STINGING QUESTIONS🤔

1. ARE WE A LESSER SERVICEMEN THAN THOSE WHO RETIRED AFTER JANUARY 2013?

2. WHY AFC NEVER DISCUSSED THESE MATTERS IN DETAIL BEFORE FORMULATING CHANGES?

3. WHY ARE OUR HIGH RANKING RETIRED GENERALS SILENT IN THESE ISSUES?

4. WHAT'S WRONG WITH OUR VETERANS ASSOCIATION?

5. WHY ARE WE BEING PUNISHED FOR LOYALTY, SERVICE AND DEDICATION?

In war, there is no rematch. You win, or you lose. But, in battle you strategise. We are in battle now.
What is the strategy? Plan B. Fight to win, or flee with tails in between our legs?
The Federal Court is the last resort thus far. Circumstances are:
1. The Government has not withdrawn and is ready to accept the verdict on November 6th. Very confident, I must say.
2. We veterans, still stand proudly educated in the sacred words of the Federal Constitution upon our rights as pensioners.
3. Just pondering, if the verdict rules against us, does it mean that the constitution does not provide and protect us?
4. If the court draws logic to save us, with or without conditions, has justice been served?
