Malaysiakini : COMMENT | Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim now stands at a crossroads. His coalition government includes former cabinet members who were complicit in the convicted felon, Najib Abdul Razak’s 1MDB abuses.

These are not mere individuals; they are structural enablers whose presence undermines the credibility of governance.

With the High Court ruling that Najib is guilty on all four counts of abuse of power and all 21 money laundering charges linked to the 1MDB scandal, will Anwar clean house?

According to the latest official cabinet list announced this December, Anwar's coalition government includes:

• Ahmad Zahid Hamidi: Deputy prime minister I, a senior Umno-Baru leader and coalition partner.

• Fadillah Yusof: Deputy prime minister II, another senior coalition figure.

• Azalina Othman Said: Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform).

• Zambry Abd Kadir: Higher education minister.

• Noraini Ahmad: Plantation and commodities minister.

• Johari Abdul Ghani: Investment, trade and industry minister.

These appointments may reflect continuity in personnel drawn from the Umno-Baru/BN political network, but they also represent senior figures from the political establishment that presided over and tolerated the era in which 1MDB flourished.

Dr Suresh Kumar : When I say Anwar is an accidental PM, it means he did not recieve the mandate of the people, in other words tebuk atap PM. When he hooked up with UMNO, I was furious but his die hard fans kept quiet as they just wanted to see him 'appointed' as the PM believing that he is a god send PM to reform Malaysia. 

Hello, this is the man who Islamised our national schools including the missionary schools when he was the education minister. He is the one who instructed all missionary schoools to remove the cross symbol. He is the one who forced Malay female students to wear the tudung. 

He is the one who lied in Parliament about the Forex loss under the sly fox as only a loss on paper. Heck after his ABIM days he was supposed to join PAS not UMNO, but Mahathir the sly fox roped him into UMNO, though initially he rejected Anwar, but later lured him with a lucrative post to compete with PAS' Islamic agenda. 

See how the majority race can be easily duped and manipulated by using religion and race by their own kind. My Malay brethren, it's time to wake up. LOL! Anwar promised to clean up the squalid conditions of the Port Dickson beaches if he wins the PD by-election in 2018 which he won. Did he clean it up? Go and witness for yourself. 

Mariam Mokhtar, you are asking for the impossible from a fake reformist lah. How many times do I have to remind you guys to not delude yourselves. Our sole aim now should be to focus on removing the chameleon and his dynasty from power in the next GE. This accidental PM does not deserve to be a PM as he is not a PM material at all.
