From Jesus to Christ: The First Christians, Part One (full documentary) - FRONTLINE

“Unless there is a Good Friday in our lives, there will never be an Easter Sunday. The Cross is the condition of the empty tomb, and the crown of thorns is the preface to the halo of light.” -Archbishop Fulton Sheen

First broadcast in 1998, “From Jesus to Christ: The First Christians” is an exploration into the life and death of Jesus, and the men and women whose belief, conviction, and martyrdom created the religion we now know as Christianity.

"History isn't made to record the deeds of a person like Jesus." Man, this statement speaks volumes. Most people who have ever lived were poor peasants who have been forgotten in the sands of time, and yet, they are in the company of the who is perhaps the most influential person in the history of the world, who was a peasant just like them.

"I am a Jew but I am enthralled with the luminous figure of the Nazarene... ...No man can read the gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus." Frases Albert Einstein. Drawing upon historical evidence, the series challenges familiar assumptions and conventional notions about Christian origins.

This is one of the best documentaries on Jesus that I have ever seen I think it is brilliant and beautifully done.
