‘Not surprised’: Farage blasts Australian authorities for inadequate response to extremism

I was horrified but not in my least bit surprised. If if there's any country in the western world that has allowed radicalism to develop, that has allowed hate preachers, uh marches at which appalling things have been said. In fact, everything that's happened since the October the 7th attacks and we remember what happened on Sydney Harbor Bridge the next day. 

No, I think actually in Australia of all the western countries, uh, we've seen firebombings, we've seen threats, we see graffiti, uh, we see a Jewish community in Sydney virtually under siege. So, if there was any country in which it was going to happen, I'm sorry to say that Australia was top of the list. 

And you add to that the completely unnecessary recognition of a Palestinian state, whatever that is supposed to mean at this moment in time. Um and and you have an Australian prime minister saying this was an attack on all Australians. No, it wasn't.

Absolutely not. This was a specific motivated attack against the Australian Jewish community.
