Russell Peters Notorious Full Special In Australia

I agree with him about not being in the room while your wife gives birth. I was up by my wife's head, looking in her eyes. The nurses asked if I wanted the watch the baby come out and I said "Hell no! I eat at that restaurant lady!

I'll be back in 6 weeks when it reopens." The nurses laughed so hard. When they asked me to cut the cord I panicked and said "No way. You have a medical degree and I don't. You do it!" Sent them into gales of laughter again. I spent 4 hours being yelled at by one woman and laughed at by 2 others. 

I was living in a sober living home in south FL in 2018. A few month into being there, I found out one of the other guys living there was friends with Russell. He eventually told me that Russell was the one that actually paid for his initial treatment and has continued to pay his sober living cost. 

Of course one would have to question if this was some BS or not for obvious reasons, he was a recovering addict, we both were, and we're living at a sober living house together, I've heard a lot of people make stupid claims, but it was true. 

One day we were smoking a cigarette outside and he called him just to say hello, and he put the call on speaker phone so I could hear, and there's no mistaking that voice, it was clear that it was RusselI. And he wasn't like going around bragging any of this. The only reason I found out was because all of us would just sit outside on the patio at night and joke around with each other. 

This guy was absolutely hilarious. Very quick witted also. And he would just go down the line ragging on everyone there. I was already a big fan of Russell by that point because I saw this special, so I would do little bits from it.

I remember asking him if he ever heard of him, and that's when he mentioned the connection. So that's definitely really cool of Peters to do that. My friend did not disappoint and has been clean since 2017.
