When Murder is a Sacrament By Peter Smith

on’t know about you, but at about 2.30pm on Monday I had to turn off the Prime Minister at his press conference. He’s a very creepy handsome boy.

It was when he read a script hastily cobbled together by his department on what he’d done to implement the recommendations of the Jillian Segal report, clause by clause, that I almost threw up. The man is shameless.

Tony Burke rushed back from his holiday in New Zealand apparently. When you think about the Bondi Beach horror and Albanese, Burke and Wong, complicity springs to mind. Stirring up hatred of Israel by consistently siding with the hateful antisemitic UN can’t help but inspire even more hatred among the more radical of our imported Islamic communities, I would guess.

Was a rapid response SWAT-style force dispatched? The head of ASIO, Mike Burgess, was on the TV saying that the threat level of a terrorist attack had been probable (50% at least). So I assume that governments doing their job would have rapid response forces at the ready, at least in Australia’s state capital cities. But have they?
