Malaysiakini : COMMENT | Mirror, mirror on the wall, which animal is the most “busuk” (smelliest) of them all? This is the sad yet hilarious face of our politics. The recent brouhaha over pig farming in Selangor led to many social media posts slamming the animals and meat as “smelly and dirty”.

But don't chicken, cow and goat farms also stink? Some people find mutton too pungent to eat as well.

Puncak Borneo MP Willie Mongin responded to the anti-pork side by telling Parliament: “Although pigs are smelly, budu and belacan are worse. But we have never insulted those foods, we practise mutual respect.

BluePanther4725 : The pig is far cleaner than the corrupted politicians and religious bigots. Muslims here condemn the oppression of Palestinians by Israel, but they have no qualms using their religion to oppress and discriminate the non-muslims. It's hypocrite, wrong and uncivilised.

Veteran 1972 : My neighbour has 3 cats and he is a convert, guess he did it for the love of 🐈‍⬛. They come over across from his house and 💩 in my compound. They stink up my compound. Not only that they rummage through garbage bags, which have pig offal. 

The cats go back, in the evenings I see his kids hugging and mooching with them. What do I do about it? It's very exasperating. I walk very early in my compound, I use a 🔦 to walk to avoid the 🐈‍⬛ 💩. I haven't done anything drastic yet. 

Cats are filthy too, my dog died due to old age. If he had been around none of this would happen, the last time cats came they died. I considered them as committing suicide. They didn't have science at that time, they had not started conquering and enslaving other advanced cultures yet. Then claiming as their own.

On the Other Hand : Exactly. The Persians were conquered and forced to convert. Then they renamed Persian civilization, which is actually Parsi civilization based on centuries of knowledge and critical thought, as Islamic civilization, which it is not. This is how they rewrite history to try to make themselves look superior.

Dr Peter Jebaseelan Jesudason : If Anwar can use his prestige as PM to persuade the MB to shelve a multi -million RM pig project, there is no reason why he cannot persuade Mr Nizam Jakel not to demolish a 120 year old Hindu temple in Kuala Lumpur because of its tremendous historical and religious significance.

Just Common Sense : That one cannot bro because anwar apparently only minority govt when it comes to controversial or difficult issues where he might lose malay votes. No such minority govt issue when sending RM200 million to Gaza.

Robbie98: Just to recall, when PM insisted and proceeded with a ceremony to confirm the relocation of the temple and replacement with mosque it was promoted as a victory for Islam . Therein lies the problem.

AyamKambingBack : Please get rid of the extremely "busuk" corruptors that are making our live more and more difficult by the day with soaring prices, taxes and various statutory fees. 

These unpatriotic corruptors are really busuk hati type, they stole billions from the country and park them outside of Malaysia, making all of us the law abiding citizens to pay back the billions of debts created by them. 

We, our children and our grand children have to bare all the burdens. Proposed that a death penalty be sentenced to the national traitors cum corruptors.

DonGetMeWrong : All animals stinks and smells. For Muslims cats deemed to be clean but their poop is the most smelly and the whole house stinks but they tolerant because it is halal but dogs not. 

The problem arise because Muslims don't eat pork and deemed to be haram. It is more of a biased perception than anything else. Even the Muslims themselves do not know why pork is forbidden. The only reason they know is the Quran said so. 

But in most extreme cases of starvation pork can be consumed if it is the only meat available. The intolerance of Muslims towards other races and religions boils down to the issues of halal and haram whereby other races and religions do not subscribe to such doctrine. 

This is why it is very difficult for majority of Muslims to be inclusive as they think their religion is the only supreme one. Sigh.
