Malaysiakini : For Charles Santiago, the case of a student stepping on the Quran is both inexcusable and indefensible.
Yet, the former DAP lawmaker said it would be remiss of him not to highlight what appears to be a selective application of the law in matters involving race and religion.
According to Charles, this is where Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s advice to ignore the “small group” stirring trouble becomes hard to accept, because within that group, some seem to be above the law.
AntiRacial : It is not possible to expect a guy from ABIM to be fair with all races! He might think Indians will finally vote for PH in GE16, but he fails to realise if vote for PH or PN brings the same sh** why Indians should vote for PH?
VP Biden : Non malays suffer because of incompetent self centred malay politics from both sides on top of rigorous islamisation of the nation. Both sides cannot be trusted, who will trust bullies.
Warning to Sabah and Sarawak, don't trust either. Sarawak is doing well by slowly asserting self rule for when time comes they will be ahead of the game.
hrrmph : Kudos to the Mr. Santiago for pointing out the elephant in the room. When a Muslim is the incendiary, the PM will ask us to ignore, that it is only a minority who behave boorishly. But when a non-Muslim is similarly inflammatory, the full brunt of the law is thrown at him.
In fact, even when it is fair comment, he is thrown to the bus. Does the PM think he is keeping the peace? He is not. He is only ensuring a future in which the bullies will act with more impunity because these bullies knows there is no repercussion.
And the converse, tacitly allowed attacks on non-Muslim who does the same, will be viewed as these bullies are special. They can attack unfairly, but retaliatory attacks will not be allowed by the government.
That is the surest way to embolden a bully. And to encourage more people to be bullies. To a person who claims to be learned, who read history of the world, Anwar must know that is how a society explodes, if unfairness is allowed to be perpetuated.
kita orangbiasa : """According to Charles, this is where Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s advice to ignore the “small group” stirring trouble becomes hard to accept, because within that group, some seem to be above the law.
Calling it a “glaring example”, he pointed to Muslim preacher Zamri Vinoth, who likened kavadi bearers during the Hindu Thaipusam festival to drunken individuals and was not prosecuted despite hundreds of police reports filed against him."""
Very rightly said, no matter how small the group is, they must be prosecuted if they break the law. Likening kavadi bearers during the Hindu Thaipusam festival to drunken individuals is a grave matter and an insult (menghina) to Hindus. It touches on 3R that the PM has been harping on.
Stepping on the holy Quran is also a grave matter and the police arrested and remanded the student. It was also committed by a very small group, in fact an individual. Mr PM why don't you advice to ignore this small individual. Mr PM, are you indicating when a Muslim insults the Hindu it is Ok but it is NOT when it is the other way around?
Veteran 1972 : PMX is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, a known terrorist outfit and designated as such in a majority of Muslim countries. Remember PMX went to Turkey several times to get the blessings of Erdogan.
Recently most of the state governments in the USA have designated them as terrorists. The Muslim Brotherhood wants to rule the world. Working very hard in the UK, bound to fail when a party which is brutally frank called "Restore UK" was recently launched.
Read it all here.......The first thing he did was attended a conversion ceremony of a Hindu young man and then bullied a student, Hindu girl talking down to her. Anyone forgot that?
