Malaysiakini : COMMENT | The bravado, relentless declarations of defiance, assertions of innocence, invincibility, and unwavering confidence, have finally collapsed with a resounding thud.
For months, voices from within and outside the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) maintained a posture of bold resistance, dismissing any suggestion of wrongdoing. But yesterday, in Lausanne, Switzerland, that pretence was dismantled.
Over the past five months, millions of Malaysians watched with disbelief as the obvious signs of government collusion emerged. For many, it was the first time they had witnessed, up close, how the law could be bent - and, in some instances, broken - to serve the interests of a select few.
TM My Foot : Well done FIFA and CAS for exposing what Malaysia is all about. Lies, more lies and scandals. Seems that the govt never learns, ever. Despite all this, someone stayed defiant by inviting the critics to take him to court.
What a load of rubbish. He can say that because he is protected. If he was a layman, I am sure the critics will have field in court busting his behind.
Arrogance may be a virtue to him because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Also, why hasn’t Anwar sacked the Home Minister? Shouldn’t he also be hauled up for defending his own lies?
Read it all here......Does Anwar also think that his HM is brave like Azam Baki? Every other day there is just some scandal just waiting to spring more surprises.
