This needed to have been done since 1979. It's long overdue. The funny part is they hurt Russia and China most by blocking the straight. I suspect Trump pulled the oil from Venezuela so when this predictably happened, the effect on the U.S. would be small.

The U.S. Military has proven time and again they are the most dangerous when allowed to actually fight. Not as a mob in the street swinging wildly, randomly, nor relying on brute force but more like a skilled surgeon striking decisively and cutting the cancer out directly, efficiently.
