A nail in the coffin of the Albanese government. Not just the arrest, but the way it was done. My grandfather was a prisoner of war by the Japanese on the Burma Railway for 8 years. Can I sue Japan now?
People need to get off their arse and walk a mile in these Soldier's boots. I can tell you, you wouldn't survive 24 bloody hours. $300 million for this investigation. $50 million given to Taliban just recently.
And $700,000 paid to a witness in the defamation case as reported as hush money because the witness knew what the investigation was doing. Sorry when in a conflict and in war zone we don't know the exact circumstances or reasons.
NO BODY in Australia will want to join defence force. No no no no no. Never been to war, then you have zero say. My father and his battalion were forced to kill children because the Japanese would strap grenades to them and send them into the camps looking for lollies. War isn't pretty.
War is brutal, and even the so called ally or innocent people can be your enemy. You don't have time to wonder; only act, and forcing testimonies from his battalion, whilst most was hearsay? And to make matters worse, paying Afghans for statements?
It’s unimaginable that this man is in jail. I read they spent upwards of 300 million on persecuting him. He operated in a real life war zone. Something most of us could never imagine. It all smacks of treason. Anyone who does not stand with our soldiers does not deserve to live in Australia. And they certainly do not to have the right to judge them. No civilian does. Who is thinking of the law when in such a volatile situation? Give me a break. I stand with Ben.
