BN state govt will never work with DAP, says Onn Hafiz By Shakira Buang & Zarrah Morden

Malaysiakini : Caretaker Johor menteri besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi today pledged that BN would not form a state government with DAP if it is returned to power in the upcoming state election. Speaking at BN's election machinery launch, Onn said he would rather forgo the menteri besar post than work alongside the party.

InsyaAllah, when our government is re-established, with the consent of His Majesty the Johor sultan and His Royal Highness the Johor regent, if we are given the mandate to lead once again, we will never, ever be with DAP in a BN government.

"With the permission of (BN chairperson) Datuk Seri (Ahmad Zahid Hamidi), I would rather not hold the post of menteri besar than sit at the same table with them," he declared to cheers from a sea of blue gathered at the Educity Sports Complex indoor stadium, Iskandar Puteri.

BOBBYO : A new freebie, who is using the R card, not realizing that Johor's population is made up of 45 per cent of the NM voters. Whatever Umno can throw at DAP, the results prove that the DAP Minister's performed far more better than any Umno politicians put together. 

Umno have a record of looting and pillaging the nation. Right from Najib, Muhyddin and Sabri, they all have been caught with hundreds of millions or even billions on themselves. Monies which rightfully belong to the people. Not forgetting their very own leader charged for 47 charges of corrupt acts.. How many DAP leaders were charged for putting their hands in to the Treasury? 

Secondly are the DAP politicians not Malaysians. Why is Onn Hafiz degrading them to a level of being like the untouchables ? I will not work with the party even though if l am elected. DAP is a multi national party, that have proven that when in power, they would rather show what or how they can perform, rather than create instability in the nation. 

They may have been silent on issues, which they promised to raise or amend, but you need the support of your coalition partners to make the changes. Many of the draconian laws that were implemented was when Umno was in power. It was used to control the people. As a result we can assume that Umno stood in the way of the PH administration, when it came to the time of abolishment. 

We can safely say that when Umno comes to power, they intent to strengthen or keep these draconian laws, so that they can use them to control the people. We can assume that the pillaging of the Treasury will continue when Umno returns to power. Their families, cronies and themselves will prosper, while the average citizen will have to pay the price. 

60 years of Umno rule and yet the peopled basic salary today is not enough to look after a family, while our Southern neighbor who started together have improved by leaps and bounds. The list goes on at the failures of the Umno administration. Look at the level of our education system. Degraded to the level, where nations that use to be behind us have out performed us. 

Look at our General Hospitals. Where people have to wait for hours to be treated. Lying on floors until they get a bed. Even waiting for years to be operated on, for serious heart defects until some have even passed away. 60 years of Umno rule and a trillion over in debts and corruption level to a hilt, what have Umno to show to the people. 

That is why it was rejected at the last elections. Be humble Onn Hafiz and not be proud and arrogant. You have not proven anything that Umno have contributed to the betterment of the nation.

PurpleKijang9104 : Never even imagined that such an idiotic racist born to the 3rd Prime Minister of our country. Late PM, Hussein Onn was such a respected man that people of all races loved him when he was the minister of Education. 

The son now has become a racist. The position he holds is MB for all Malaysians in the state irrespective of political differences. After almost 7 decades, unscrupulous leaders like this still talk of race to divide and rule.

His Majesty said the Rukun Negara, introduced on Aug 31, 1970, is a national pledge and commitment by all Malaysians to restore unity and strengthen social harmony among the nation’s diverse communities. Will Onn Hafiz be given a royal rebuke for his outrageously racist rant?
