Rafting Borneo's Most Dangerous River - Award-Winning Documentary

In 2025, we ventured deep into the heart of Borneo in search of the last known population of pygmy elephants. A two man crew: -Tarzan, a professional wildlife tracker. -And myself, a biologist and filmmaker.

This journey plunged us into a world of wild jungle, crocodile-dense rivers, and the constant threat of police interference. Along the way, the film captures intimate glimpses of local culture and rich ecological systems, offering a raw, urgent plea for environmental conservation in one of the planet’s last wild frontiers.

Having premiered on PBS and select film festivals earlier this year under the official title of "The River of Life & Death", we decided to upload it here for free. What a great film, congratulations for showing the world this part of Borneo and the threats to the elephants and orangutans. Much needed Kinabatangan crocodile population (2017-2019) estd 1,386 living in that river, out of 2,886 counted across Sabah

This guy and those kids are crazy for jumping in that river
