No Atheists
In A Foxhole

Rudyard Kipling

" “When you're left wounded on
Afganistan's plains and

the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle

and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur

" “We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”

“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.”
“Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace,
for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .”
“The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

Zahid to address Umno, Najib supporters may protest against PM By Hariz Mohd
Saturday, August 27, 2022
Zahid Ponorogo

Malaysiakini : Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is expected to address the concerns of roiled party members at a briefing today, especially the jailing of Najib Abdul Razak, according to a party insider.

The leader, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said there is no plan to use the event to put pressure on Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob to step down, as many had speculated.

However, he does not discount the possibility that hardcore supporters of former Umno president Najib might try to use the gathering at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur to pit the blame on Ismail Sabri over the jailing of the former prime minister. “It is not the agenda of the briefing (to pressure Ismail Sabri to step down). The president (Zahid) is fair.

“The gathering is more to address the (unsettling) situation because the Umno base is very restless and (this) needs to be addressed,” said the source. The leader spoke to Malaysiakini to set the record straight following contradictory claims that Ismail Sabri had been given an ultimatum by the party’s political bureau to dissolve Parliament or face expulsion from Umno.

He said no such ultimatum or threat was made against the prime minister. However, the source, who is privy to top-level party discussions, admitted there were such talks among a certain section of Umno members and leaders who are pro-Najib looking for Ismail Sabri's head to roll for not lifting a finger to prevent the Pekan MP from going to jail.

Headhunter : The long delay in Najib's case gave them the impression that they can get away with it their crimes. His case was delayed at a whim. That is why cases like it should be dispensed with quickly to give them the message that no one is above the Law. Also to stop the politicising to the detriment of the rakyat. Zahid is playing the same game.

ScarletShark1551 : Ismail Sabri's head to roll for not lifting a finger to prevent Pekan MP going to jail. Who do this guys think they are. Who is Ismail Sabri to interfere when there is overwhelming evidence to send Najib to jail

Apa Harapan : Now that their crooked ex-leader fit acing justice, they should be rejoicing for a chance to reset their image as a parasite party that was feeding off stolen loot provided by the Crook. Their small-mindedness and feudal mentality betray their absence of a sense of what is right and wrong. They have been led by the noose for so long with easy money that they have also lost the ability to think. Corruption in the form of abuse of power and stealing is wrong even in their religion. Wake up!

Turnedback : Almost four solid years fair court trial , the hardcore Najid supporters still condemned not fair, what actually they want , to continued let the corruption going on till our country goes bankrupt like what happened to Sri Lanka. Not to mentioned a poor auntie stole 2 tins of Milo was straight away sentenced to jail, it's fair and justify to the poor lady.

GrayGoose8208 : UMNO does not want to lose power and authority but they don’t deserve to be in government. 60+ years of BN rule is enough. How much more can the rakyat tolerate this abuse of power and corruption? Dear Malay friends, please wake up from this fake dream. All other Malaysians have been experiencing nightmares after nightmares under UMNO Premiership including Ismail.

Koel : "However, he does not discount the possibility that hardcore supporters of former Umno president Najib might try to use the gathering at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur to pit the blame on Ismail Sabri over the jailing of the former prime minister." Pathetically morally bankrupt party accepting advice and leadership from a leader with multiple corruption charges.

What advice would such persons have to offer? About how to threaten the govt? About how to send out destabilising agents and thugs to sow fear in people and disrupt the country? About how to compromise the judiciary and threaten the institution? What a pathetic bunch of fearful men taking advice from alleged corrupt ones.

Malaysian123 : If you have the guts, Zahid, hold the UMNO elections first before trying to force a GE. You are just trying to avoid going to jail. Your guilt is a forgone conclusion. And you know it. Your excrement has hit the fan........and you are smelly .

OCT : This is giving an impression that UMNO leader cannot be charged, prosecuted and sent to jail even after found by the courts and with proven evidences and testimonials from witnesses. This is very dangerous. UMNO can be regarded a political party that don't respect law and order. It is mafia like. If NR can be set free thru feelings of UMNO members then ZH trial and conviction later are of no use as a precedent has been set. ZH can walk.

UMNO leader must control the emotions of its members and advise its members to respect law and order. UMNO leader should also advocate that they take positive steps to support Govt policy of ridding corruption instead of support corruption. Rakyat is also disappointed that PDRM is not reacting to a charged up atmosphere in this forthcoming UMNO meeting.

There is a possibility that a breakdown in law and order can happen. NR cannot be pardoned using threats, violence and unlawful means. Rakyat must ensure UMNO cannot win GE15 as it means no UMNO leader can be charged for criminal offenses. No wonder so far there is no UMNO sitting minister has ever been charged for crimes
