No Atheists
In A Foxhole

Rudyard Kipling

" “When you're left wounded on
Afganistan's plains and

the women come out to cut up what remains,
Just roll to your rifle

and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier”
General Douglas MacArthur

" “We are not retreating. We are advancing in another direction.”

“It is fatal to enter any war without the will to win it.”
“Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.
“The soldier, above all other people, prays for peace,
for he must suffer and be the deepest wounds and scars of war.”
“May God have mercy upon my enemies, because I won't .”
“The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his.

“Nobody ever defended, there is only attack and attack and attack some more.
“It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived.
The Soldier stood and faced God
Which must always come to pass
He hoped his shoes were shining
Just as bright as his brass
"Step forward you Soldier,
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To My Church have you been true?"
"No, Lord, I guess I ain't
Because those of us who carry guns
Can't always be a saint."
I've had to work on Sundays
And at times my talk was tough,
And sometimes I've been violent,
Because the world is awfully rough.
But, I never took a penny
That wasn't mine to keep.
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep,
The Soldier squared his shoulders and said
And I never passed a cry for help
Though at times I shook with fear,
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.
I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fears.
If you've a place for me here,
Lord, It needn't be so grand,
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod
As the Soldier waited quietly,
For the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, you Soldier,
You've borne your burden well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in Hell."

The 'angry few' can be powerful By Mariam Mokhtar
Saturday, February 28, 2026

Malaysiakini : COMMENT | Apparently, our prime minister cannot count because yesterday, when Anwar Ibrahim said that the country’s problems are driven by an “angry few”, he utterly missed the scale and depth of public discontent.

Most Malaysians are not merely annoyed by online chatter or political theatrics. They are angry because real systemic failures affect their daily lives, and more often than not, many government officials respond with dismissive phrases rather than meaningful action.

Perhaps the reason there appear to be so few angry voices is not that the majority are content, but because they are afraid to speak out.

GrayParrot9290 : Pmx has proven to be a weak leader - rationalisation of issue, illogical decision making and simply refuse to read what is happening and critical for our country development.

Impartial and not racist very fine line with all his actions and words, All said, Rakyat will judge him and likely kick him out in GE16 !

Fair Player : PMX is surrounded by YES men who are clinging on to their high profile positions which come with all luxuries perks. He cannot see outside of these YES men who are surrounding him. We, the voters will show him the power of "angry few" in GE16

MalayaPhD : It is already way too obvious that PMx and his line of cabinet comprising of questionable individuals are not suited to govern a multiracial country.

They have proven time and again that they can’t be impartial, applying the law evenly, in governing the country. When we have a premier who is not blinded by 2/3R in his appointments and when there is a check and balance where all races are well represented in the cabinet, then and only then will Malaysia be on the road to recovery.

It has suffered and continues to suffer in the hands of the unscrupulous for way too long to a point where the elites and those in power know that they can commit a crime with impunity.

Robbie98 : Yes , you are right . The support for Madani is hanging by a small tenuous thread and might vanish by GE 16 . Increasingly you hear the view why not someone else , what is there to loose !?. The position of Madani is our safest choice does not hold water

Steven Ong : It seem that Anwar and his loyal supporters like DAP can not understand the facts that Malaysians are complainng or doesn't care as he thinks that he is invincible as the voters has no choice other than him and loyal followers or that he thinks voters are all stupid or fearful of change.

History of Malaysia had shown us that the voters are easily deceived and convinced by promisses or lies. They kept voting BN again and again until a dumb PM made a mistake and PH came in as the new government. But after two years , the incompetencies, corruption, abuses and discrimination remain the same .

Why are these politicians still behaving wicked , corrupt and discriminative ? There must be a reason as man are shaped by what is fed into them and the belief that they are praising and following what is considered the best on earth. But the actual facts and destruction are always there in the news around the world.

The west are awakening and fighting back but maybe too late now. And Malaysia is falling step by step into that trap , as this article by a reasoning person is showing us all.

Zaheed : Now we know why many learned people kept warning Malaysians that this guy was a useless leader. He plays to the gallery. He does not know what is good for the country.

He does nothing about radicals who are tearing down a multiracial Malaysia which in itself brings bad image to the country. Such a disgrace.
