20 years after the 2002 Bali bombing, what is the state of Indonesia’s war on terrorism?

On October 12, 2002, the Indonesian island of Bali - and the world at large - was rocked by a violent terrorist attack.

Multiple blasts tore through the Sari Club and Paddy’s Irish Bar on the Kuta nightclub strip. Two hundred and two people lost their lives and more than 200 suffered burns and other injuries from the attack carried out by the al-Qaeda affiliate terrorist group Jemaah Islamiah. In response, Indonesia sharply boosted efforts to crack down on home-grown terrorism.

Since then, what has two decades of stepped up counterterrorism efforts achieved?
