Malaysiakini : The Seputeh parliamentary seat - one of DAP’s strongholds in the capital city - might see an independent candidate in the upcoming 15th general election, local Lee Wai Hong.
Read it all here, subscription required........The former Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall Youth chief announced on social media yesterday that he will contest in his hometown Seputeh, right after the Parliament was dissolved.
Lee, 42, is hoping to be an alternative for those who have lost their confidence in political parties after the Sheraton Move political coup in 2020.
“There were only a few voters who came out to vote during those state elections after the Sheraton Move. But I hope Seputeh voters will not give up their right to vote.”
Optimus : In this particular case, a vote for indie is a wasted vote
Cha lan dou : Wasting time. Better donate your money to charity than to lose your deposit.
Knucklehead : Sure lose deposit! What a dud! #DreamOn
Demi Rakyat : He will be assured of at least 3 votes. His proposer, seconder and himself.😁😁
csk : Trouble maker. In Chinese we call them "sh*t stirrer"
YellowMacaw6549 : Independent PRU winners if any ... are of no bloody use in national policy in present day context except self seving as a potential frog wannable to the highest bidder.
Dino : Go stand against Hadi in Marang more better .If you can convince the voters there i consider you smart.
Kovacs92 : In the upcoming election where the stakes are extremely high, it is not good at all for there to be a 3rd force to split the votes. This independent candidate should really reconsider his intention to run against DAP.
Kongkang kangkong : wasted idiot
Tg Rambutan Wad 13 inmate : Wish you luck. Frankly speaking you better donate the money for charity to help the needy than wasting it for forfeited deposit.
anon_12155 : Joker!
