Umno says PM's position untenable after BN declared 'main enemy' By Raveena Nagotra

Malaysiakini : Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan said the dissolution of Parliament is the best way to move forward as outgoing prime minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob’s position became untenable.

Without naming names, he said this was because Umno’s allies in Ismail Sabri’s government had declared the party and the BN coalition as its “main enemy”. 

“Umno is of the opinion that the dissolution of Parliament is the best way forward, considering that the party representatives that formed the previous coalition government are clearly not showing their solidarity towards the prime minister in the country’s governance. 

“In fact, declaring Umno and BN as their main enemy only showed a lack of trust and respect for Umno leading the government,” Ahmad (above) said at a press conference after the Umno supreme council meeting last night.

OCT : There is no need to hurry GE15 when GE14 term is coming to an end. UMNO has tolerated for so long. Another few months shouldn't make any differences for UMNO unless UMNO has ulterior motives.

Maslan can come up with justifications but they won't fool Rakyat anymore as the reason for early GE15 is to free their leaders from prosecutions. UMNO is callous by putting Rakyat lives at stake and in danger in a monsoon season.

UMNO thinks Rakyat lives are cheap and expandable. Rakyat will show UMNO that it's the Rakyat who will decide which coalition will be the next govt. Malaysian must unite to fight this corrupted UMNO at all cost to ensure UMNO won't win the GE15. UMNO is the most corrupted party with many of its leaders living beyond their pay grades.

Rakyat has eyes that can see and brain to think who are the evil and corrupted politicians. Let's forsake race and religion to make a new Malaysia for our children and grandchildren. Malaysia is what the Rakyat makes it to be and NOT the politicians as these politicians think only about power, enrichment and free from prosecutions. Selfish, arrogant, no sympathy and empathy for the Rakyat.

Vote anybody except BN/UMNO/MCA/MIC & PAS.

Just a Malaysian : Einstein here is trying to deflect the rebuke by His majesty. Umno looks selfish after pushing aggressively for GE and the YDPA chastise them for it. And Einstein here is trying to blame PN for it. Be a man ..

Aisyalam : The lesser you talk about it the better. At least it won’t confirm to us that you are all liars at least the one who talks about it. You know and we know the reality. Your president was calling for early elections before the declaration.

Headhunter : GPS should take this opportunity to negotiate with both opposition and the Sabri group for better deal for Sarawak. BN is now in disarray and there is no obligation to support any of them in this election. But there is nothing wrong to work with whoever win the biggest number of seats.

The smart thing to do is to negotiate now while they are in a compromising position. However, the kingmaker role that GPS can play should be with a caveat and that is; the state government be given more freedom, the Sarawak agreement be fulfilled, a certain percentage of the national budget be allocated for the next five years, increase in the share of profit from oil and gas, independent management of the education and replacing government officers from Malaya with local qualified officers.

No point for GPS to keep drumming about all the above when the status quo still remains and you are still treated like a maid. Stop boasting that you are the kingmaker when in fact you are being treated as FD by the federal government. And if the court cluster group win, you can bet they will try to grab everything for themselves including state resources. There is what pirates do. Is GPS going to let that happen? Sarawakians will not forgive you.

Newday : Enemies of UMNO are everywhere. Look at what you have managed to do in two short with your selfish power lusting coalition. You have insulted all acting like the school yard bully. There is no Ummah with UMNO, just desperate political thugs.

Cogito Ergo Sum : You got that right Ahmad Maslan. Umno/BN had been the enemy of the Rakyat and the state for 50 plus years. You stole the people’s mandate and some officials of your party stole from the nation’s coffers.

It’s time you are kicked out of Parliament and never return. Your sheer arrogance is laughable. It’s like entering a F1 race on a bullock cart with 3 wheels and hoping to win the championship! That’s sums up Umno/BN.
