Loke denies claim DAP to drop Ramasamy from Penang polls By Hariz Mohd

Malaysiakini : DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke has dismissed news reports claiming that the party has decided to drop Penang Deputy Chief Minister II P Ramasamy from contesting in the upcoming state election.

Loke pointed out that Pakatan Harapan and its allies in the federal government ruling coalition have not even concluded their seat allocation discussion. "We have not even done seat negotiation. So, we have not discussed candidates. "We will only know who will be candidates during the election nomination day," he said when asked about the matter during a press conference today.

BlueMouse0551 : Just because of dissenting opinions and voicing out concerns should never be a reason to "drop" a person from your party. An honourable person does not have to please his masters in important matters or being complicit with them. The repercussions will be huge and political stability undermined.

GreenLynx4382 : If DAP has any intention of dropping Prof. Rama from the PRN candidates list, BE prepared to lose Penang, Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. Indians hold the KEY to the winning of these states There are traitors within and without who want to drill a wedge among the coalition parties in HARAPAN.SO BE CAREFUL.

Anak jln San Peng : U all call Ramasamy as racist ?? Pity u guys. He is voicing out for non Malays. What will u call Anwar , zahid , muhiddin, Hadi , hamzah , mukriz Mahathir. ????? They are voicing for their race also.

Then who is going to voice out for non Malays. ????? Ramasamy got nothing to loose . The non Malays got so much to loose. His voice or DAP voices , nobody bothers. Rest got no guts to open their mouth.
